Bone Tomahawk with Kirk Russell. This movie was some bullshit. Unnecessary racism, there was a horse that hated Mexicans being one instance. Stupid suspension of reality, boring as fuck for a very long stretch. The ending was nasty n pure shock value. F- for this shitty ass movie.

I started watching that,215 mins later, turned it off.....just absolutley horrible.....

Watched a couple movies on Amazon Prime over the weekend:

Margin Call-great cast, great movie. It’s a fictional account of a firm realizing the party is over ahead of the 2008 financial collapse, but it’s so well done with fantastic dialogue. Solid A.

Arbitrage-Surprisingly strong movie with Richard Gere. I hadn’t seen him in a while and he was great here. Good story all around. A-/B+

I see why people wouldn’t like a movie which a majority is a journey through the desert, but I thought the dialogue was first rate, especially Kurt Russell’s final line.

ooooh forgot about that one. I love that movie. Fantastic movie and is carried by Cooper but I can't short Lawrence, she did a fantastic job as well.

I have rewatched that movie multiple times. Definitely an 8/10 in my book. I do like movies that dive into psychological trauma and do it well, and that movie did it great. I love when he's at the football game and his Doctor is totally onboard with cheering for the Eagles and not treating Cooper as a patient.

The letter at the end Cooper gives always gets a tear from me. Yah I'm an emotional shark, you FUCKS!
Then you probably liked Bennie and Joon. A bit on the chickflicky side but still worth the two hour investment. Pre-addict Depp was a rare talent

Fall.

I am afraid of heights. They filmed it all from an actual tower for the realism rather than using green screen.
Some of the scenes made my knees ache sitting on the couch as my acrophobia kicked in.
My son said it made his hands sweat.

It's OK as long as you don't go in expecting Mystic River or Silence of the lambs levels of suspense..

Just the still shots I have seen from the marketing of this movie made me sick. I will not be watching this movie.

I feel you. I didn't think it would effect me as much as it did.
Brought me back to my days as a 12 year old when just getting in an elevator would trigger pain in my knees. I'm not sure why that happens, but when my acrophobia kicks in my knees ache.

The Great Escape

Hard to dislike.

I liked the distinction between the camp commandant (Luftwaffe) and the SS and Gestapo boys who brought Bartlett (Attenborough).

From a decent sort of guy to the SS guys who were less so to the Gestapo boys in their plain clothes who would have turned in their own mothers. Seeing a lot of those guys these days.
