The rating is because of the genre. Obviously it doesn’t stand up to other legit movies. But for what it is, it may be the best “Santa” movie this side of Miracle. I was very pleasantly surprised.

The chase scene through Santa’s village was a bit cringey, to be honest. But that scene actually helped to set the vibe and expectations for the rest of the movie and allowed me to enjoy the ride.

Ryan Reynolds in a dramatic roll. I had never heard of it, but it wasn’t what I was expecting going in, so I will refrain from any plot description here. However, quite an enjoyable movie. Not necessarily a memorable film, though, I would recommend it.

Set in a gas station in the middle of nowhere that is out of gas and waiting for the imminent arrival of the fuel truck.

I’ve seen way worse.
