4/10 doesn't sound that far off from Sandler's best effort to me...

I remember when I saw "Funny People" and saw that Sandler's character's career was basically a parallel to his own I thought "Wow, maybe he gets it... maybe he'll actually stop making complete crap now". Definitely wishful thinking.

"The Cold Light of Day" yesterday on one of the Showtime channels I think. Bruce Willis had a fairly small role. Sigourney Weaver was in it. It was supposed to be some sort of spy/mystery thriller. It was made last year and I'd never heard of it. No wonder. It was a complete piece of crap.

Yeah I watched Side Effects the other day on Netflix, didn't like it at all. The movie just didn't make since.

Watched "Oz the Great and Powerful" the other night on TV.
my initial thoughts were that it was good in parts and not great in others. the acting had its good points and bad points, from the same actors, so that could be a function of the director.

special effects looked great, and in 3D at the theater probably were fantastic.

I'll give it a 6.5/10 for now. I'll watch it again and re-evaluate later.

Just saw Enders Game.
Went with a friend that had read the book and said it stayed pretty true to the story.
I never read the book, so I had no idea what the story was.
I thought it was a really good movie. No slow parts, kept moving along, nothing that I thought needed explaining or anything like that. Acting was good, special effects were good, story was good.

I'll give it and 8 out of 10

This is the first quality movie I've seen mentioned from 2013. Full Metal Jacket was mentioned by another poster and that one was a classic.

Million Dollar Baby, 8/10. I never watched it because I couldn't get into the thought of watching a movie, where Clint Eastwood trained a female boxer. It ended up being a good movie, IMO.
