I liked it because it was based on a true story and well acted and directed. If you like action films you should go see John Wick 3 when it hits the screens in May.

True story you say.....ok,now that may change my mind about the film abit.....Damn old man got greedy....Should have quit after about he could start to afford a gold bracelet....lol

And the Wick movies,I seen the first one and was not impressed.....You may as well as to play a killing video game......I probably won't watch them at all....

Deadpool 2. I thought it was great. I'd sort of written off all things super-hero, just tired of all of the manic action and CGI. But this one was very funny. Reynolds does a hell of a job... I guess he helped write it too. He's always been a funny dude. I'll have to check out the first one now.

Wait. You watched DP2 before DP? :L:nono:

Like I mentioned, I'd basically written off cgi-dominated, super-hero fare. I've had my fill of that for the most part. But I stumbled on it right as it started one night on HBO and thought it was funny, so I watched it. I'll definitely seek out the first one.

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

A greatly satisfying conclusion to this 11-year story arc. Three hours long, but moves at a decent pace. It's happy, sad, playful, and serious. Be ready for anything and everything. There's no post-credits' scene, so you may leave the theater, after wiping away a tear or two. I think this is the best one of the bunch, which is saying something.

Sisters Brothers.

This world is an abomination but this movie is pretty good. It took me awhile to buy John C Reilly in this. I'm probably the only person in the world who would think he is miscast in this so I just suspect that I've seen him in too many other movies.

Fire in the Sky - I hadn't seen this one in over 20 years and it wasn't quite as long as I remembered it being. Still enjoyed it though. 3.5 out of 5

Glass - I didn't hate this but didn't think it was nearly as good as Split either. I also didn't care about the ending one way or the other. 2.5 out of 5

I saw FitS again a few years back. I came across the real life story somehow, and wanted to see how the movie dealt with it.

I don’t think I knew when it came out that it was “based on a true story”...

Crazy Rich Asians - A slightly above average chick flick. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. There were a few good laughs, but not enough for me. My wife liked it. 6/10

Field of Dreams. The local cinema was playing it and donating proceeds to a local project of updating a few fields. Brought my daughter who never seen it. She liked it.

Fate of the Furious (8).
Only the odd-numbered ones are fantastic. This one was close to breaking the curse, but just didn’t get there.

The Neighbor. The first half of the movie was brutally slow and boring but the end was not too bad. I would not recommend unless you are in the mood for something uncomfortable.

Speaking of uncomfortable, I saw Blackkklansman.

The movie compounds the normal tension of an 'undercover cop' film where you spend the movie worried about being 'found out' by all people involved with the uncomfortable nature of racism. This is definitely not what I'd call entertainment but it certainly makes its point.

I'm not going to give this a grade because I feel like you are going to know how you feel about the film before you even sit down to watch it.

Not all entertainment is fun... I thought it was good and suitably creepy for most of the same reasons you mention.

It all felt a bit redundant to me but I'd agree that it was on the 'good' side of movies. Just certainly not a 'movie of the year' type of movie.
