I liked this movie too, and saw that it is based on a true story- which makes it even more amazing... But here is my question: is that forbidden move where you dont even touch the person actually possible??-

I believe it's like a death touch & it's been used for thousand's of years. It takes time to master such skill.

If you love this movie, you have to go see The Lego Movie. It's pretty incredible what the writers and directors were able to get out of a PG movie. It's really got me excited for 22 Jump Street later this year.

Flyboys.

Typical war type movie. I don't know why all these movies gotta throw in the local girl love interest.

Watched Captain Phillips last night.

I thought it was a pretty solid movie, the ending scene seemed to drag on a bit too much, but a solid movie.

For anyone who liked Captain Phillips, go see A hijacking... Its much better and much less hollywood...

I saw "This is the End" and "World's End" this weekend. The clear similarity between the movies was just a coincidence.

This is the End was OK, but I was not expecting the religious theme (as buried and hookie as it was). I like the concept of a Cameo movie where EVERYONE plays themselves, though. I think that could become a trend. 7/10

Worlds End was also just OK. It does not hold a candle to Shawn of the Dead or Hot Fuzz. I totally did not understand the ending, though. Why was he traveling with blanks fighting humans? 7/10

I came up with two reasons. 1) Trying to gain some form of equality, or at least acceptance, for the blanks. 2) For selfish reasons; he now had a loyal posse to go on adventures with.... i.e.- he never has to grow up.

Clearly the 2nd option IMO...

The whole movie he was stuck in the past... He wanted his friends to be what they were... He was also very selfish and childish...

For sure he was stuck in the past and a selfish twat but the guise under which the fight was about to occur seemed to be that the humans in the bar would not accept his "friends".

Yea, but if it was a fight for the blanks wouldnt you think he would have had an army of blanks besides the ones of his friends??? I think it was simply just to live his past, and never grow up or change...
