If he wants big time minutes, he'll sign with Edmonton (although he probably would have received similar minutes in Anaheim). If he wants to go to a team that has a chance at the Cup, he'll sign with Vancouver.

he won't get the minutes in Vancouver he will get in Edmonton but I could see top PP time and if he can do what he can do then top 4 pairing. the way AV flips things up he would get good minutes.

AV will definitely hold him accountable for mistakes, that's for sure, while in Edmonton he'll pretty much have free reign.

yeah I think thats bad for a career. I guess it comes down to how much he really wants to be a great player for the future. rookie coach or Coach of the Year Stanley Cup Finals Coach? I think he comes to Vancouver.

I think Schultz will head to either Toronto or Edmonton from what I've read. It sounds like he wants playing time and wants to play with his buddy Jake Gardiner. Toronto just did give up Luke Chien and I don't think Gardiner will go the other way in a Lou trade. Edmonton makes sense just because he'd get to join a high powered, young offense and would get a ton of ice time. Who knows though.....July 1st can't come soon enough. I guess I don't have to call in sick on July 1st for the first time in many years though, lol.
