I am refering to the Phillyreign article posted on the first thread. This seems more like a sports blogger or even a message board guy. If this were infact a story it would be every where, not just a Philly site with atrocious writing.

Which article, the transcript one or the very original one? They both are coming from BroadStreetHockey of SBNation.
If you are not pissed, I am fine with that. If in 10 years from now Mike Richards said "his heart was in Philly" and then went to Pittsburgh I would be pissed, and he has not even went to any other rival team of our's. But this is your opinion, which I am fine with.
We have come to expect this stuff from Jagr. The dying inside comment was enough for me to know he had no ties to pittsburgh. I dont think Richards burned any bridges on his way out.

Well once again, it credits "Teemu H" who is BroadStreetHockey's European Flyers guy
Tough to say. Where was Hartnell's wife that day? ZING!
I dont by much from a source that remains nameless, especially when they are making quotes. If this is from a different source then where is their article. A lot of things dont add up for me to buy this.
The Pens should retire his number. He had his best and HOF years with the team. Here's the real question: Will the Penguins ever retire his number?
He's one of the best to play the game, yet may not have enough love for the team that supported his team during his growth. It would be odd having a player of that caliber not be recognized by an organization.
It was more for the "U mad?" tone of the thread than anything else. We aren't as mad as it is being portrayed.

Do you really believe the article above? It doesnt seem all that credible to me. As for being one of the best Pens, that was a long ass time ago...Since then spending time with another team most of us hate (Caps) this really isnt all that much of a shock anymore.
I would retire Recchi's # well before I would even think of Jagr's
Very long time ago, indeed. Way before the entire fanbase quit on their team for years, until the team tanked enough to acquire multiple superstars.
Haha... Thats hilarious. I know that you all hate Jagr now, but you can't take anything away from him.
