Those players have nothing to do with your comment that I posted a response to however. You said Crosby or OV don't lead the league in goals, points, or assists every year, and I just wanted to point out that OV pretty much has every year is all.

If OV played in the same era as Gretzky or Mario, he would have dominated the game, and most likely scored over 100 goals in a season.

Look, if's and buts are nice, but you have to judge players in different era's against their peers at the time in my opinion. OV and Sid both play against goalies who are better and have better gear, why isn't their a bigger gap between them and their peers if they are so much better?
Is it fair to judge OV against players who didn't even have a curve on their stick? Is it fair to judge goalies of the past who wore no masks to goalies like J.S. Michelin Giguere?

Just throwing it out there, and take it for what it's worth, but for regular season goals per game (minimun 200 goals), OV is at 0.679 while Gretzky was at 0.601.
