These all come down to personal taste.

Yup, thats what Harry Crack tells me. That and "Once you get past the smell you got it licked"

I never knew what gagging and laughing at the same time feels like.

Now I do.

And I would rank logos mostly on their representation to the team/franchise/city history, with bonus points given to any hidden easter eggs in the logo itself that also make references to such. Simplicity in design would also factor more highly into my decision than would overly elaborate design characteristics.

Yeah, agree. Although intricate logos like the Red Wings are just as awesome as very simple ones like the Blues.

Basically, it's an awesome logo if you stick some wings on it. ;) (sorry flightless birds)

So, you're a fan of the Islanders "I" pointing to Nassau? LAME

I agree on logos that are a little bit more to do with the location as well. Not required, but it's a nice touch.

Like the Washington Eagle W. I like that soooo much better than the word "Capitals" one.

It's a W, has the Capitol building in it and an Eagle. A FUCKING EAGLE.

Yep. The Caps alt logo is one that I was getting at. Even the Pens logo has a reference to the location as well. It is hidden in plain sight but many outsiders wouldn't even know about it.

The eye being an upside down scythe?

In the movie "10" that term had another meaning.

Oh right... they have that park where all the rivers converge and people go to the fountain to take golden showers.

Black and yellow... Black and yellow... Black and yellow... Black and yellow...

I made a joke on the Bell Centre Tour that the Habs logo doesn't stand for Club de hockey Canadien, but CentreHice. I am no longer allowed inside the building.
