1st off those lines are not necessarily the actual on paper favorites rather than where vegas thinks people will be betting, keeping that in mind those lines make sense...

I like to see the off season moves before making these bets but...


The Pacers at 12-1 is a huge mistake. A lot depends on who they keep and what moves they make but if they keep their starting 5 and possibly upgrade Stephenson they are my favorite to win it all. It is not about regular season records and looking pretty, it is about the playoffs and playing hard and they are built for that.

Bet Bulls for the same reason as betting Indy, odds should probably be a little higher.

see what odds you can get to bet against the Heat, with out an upgrade at Center they are not coming out of the East next year.

OKC was my pick to come out of the west this year (and lose to the Heat again) but next year I believe they will need to upgrade inside to win it all so unless that line gets better I would pass. We also do not know what playing condition Westbrook will be in, knee injuries with his playing style is a poor combination. Bet OKC to come out of the west right now, but not to win it all.

Clippers and grizzlies are proving why they are never talked about in the post season with their management choices. And the Lakers future is pretty murky with Kobe's injury and D12's indecision part 2. Spurs are going to be too old again next year
