Joe Montana may have led the entire league in completion percentage 4 times in his first 9 years but he only went 8 for 9 at the 60% level, what a loser
"Wilson had his consecutive 100 rating nobody had ever done that BEFORE"

Here are examples of some QB's that were in the league at least 9 years & had 3 consecutive seasons of 100 rating.

Steve Young- 1991 to 1994

Peyton Manning- 2004 to 2006 & 2012 to 2014

Rodgers- 2009 to 2014

Brady- 2015 to 2017

Not sure why you tried to go with QB's that were in the league at least 9 years. Doesn't matter though. You're wrong in saying Wilson was the first QB to have 3 consecutive years of 100 rating with at least 9 years in the league.

And before you try to move the goal posts you mentioned nothing about a QB starting for 9 seasons. Just that a QB was in the league for 9 years. But even that doesn't matter because Manning & Brady were starters for at least 9 seasons before they had their 3 consecutive years with a 100 rating.

You never seem to get anything right.

I was talking about the first two seasons of a career, and made that very clear. Nobody had ever posted two 100 passer ratings before Wilson.

Wilson has only played nine seasons, so ya can't compare his nine to a guy with 12ish.

Here's what you said.

Wrong, Peyton had 26.

Work with me here...

When Wilson had his consecutive 100 ratings nobody had ever done that BEFORE.....ok?

-----> And I am OBVIOUSLY talking about QB's with at least nine seasons of pro ball <-------, assumed that was understood. So Mahomes/Watson not in this conversation.

So you clearly said a QB with at least nine seasons of pro ball. Nowhere did you mention just the first two years of Wilson's career until now. You're just trying to cover your own ass at this point. You misspoke or just outright made something up.

Go to post #36 in this thread, you will read...

No QB in history had ever posted two 100 or better passer rating their first two seasons, Wilson the first.

See where I say, FIRST TWO SEASONS........so you once again are wrong.

This guy, sheesh!

Well good for you. You're finally right about something. Next time though ya gotta be more specific with other comments. You can't expect anyone to go comment hunting like that to figure out exactly what you're talking.

Because the way you worded it in the comment I originally quoted makes no mention of only his first two seasons.

After my first response to you you could have cleared everything up by saying you already mentioned in an earlier comment you were only talking about Wilson's first two seasons, you didn't.

What gets me guy is how you refuse to accept what I am, when do you cool the BS and realize....old dude knows football....never? I'm not going to make mistakes, not going to think nobody has never had three 100 ratings in a row, come on guy, damn!!!!

Dude, stop fighting it , embace it and learn a few things. Hell guy what you play is annoying, ok?

Talk to me about Bears RB Andy Livingston, yep....who? See the difference guy?

I can't see anyone walking right in (Mahomes sat the bench) and taking over like Wilson did. The guy has never missed a game, he already holds NFL records, has won a SB, has accomplishments like...

Rookie TD record (tied Peyton)
Only QB to ever post 100 or better passer rating the first two seasons
4000/30/500 twice...nobody else once
Only Rodgers a higher career passing record
Best 4th Q numbers

I don't see anyone challenging that.
Broken by Mayfield 27
and now Hebert 28

ONE MORE TIME

Wilson in year one and two of his career put up passer ratings over 100, nobody before him had ever done that before, he was the first.

Just talking those first two seasons as I mentioned, ok?

So much of this kind of thing in just nine seasons....

Russell Wilson has the highest 4th-quarter passer rating (109.6) since 1991 among quarterbacks with 500 or more attempts. In 2017, Wilson finished the season with a 134.1 4th-quarter passer rating. The Seahawks have a +269 point differential in the fourth quarter since 2012, the best in the NFL.

And yet when it really counted
.... in the closing seconds of the Super Bowl ... he couldn't throw an eight-yard pass without giving it to the other team.

Won a SB.......................................................................................................................that close to winning two
Been in the MVP talk a couple times
7 Pro Bowls
Been ranked as high as.....2....as the best player in the NFL
Only 4000/30/500 in a season, done it twice
Has never sat on a bench or missed a game
Without question the best passer of the running QB's
Will pass Joe Montana next season in career passing TD's

Why would anyone even want to debate his greatness, be negative about it, here we have an all time great, one of the best we have seen. I have seen them all since Johnny U, and have never seen anyone better. And I'm a Niner fan.
Been in the MVP talks by whom exactly? Wilson has never sniffed a MVP.

I can totally overwelm you with all the talk about Wilson and that MVP.

I can do this all night long, just one after another.....

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has never been better. Let that sink in.

In his ninth season, the Super Bowl winner, seven-time Pro Bowler and second-winningest active passer is off to a red-hot start. The dean of a group of superstar Black passers who now run the game, Wilson has been so sensational, in fact, that he’s considered the (very) early leader for the biggest distinction that’s eluded him to this point in his career: the Associated Press NFL MVP award.

Granted, it’s only Week 3. A whole lot will happen from now until the end of the regular season. Still, Wilson is clearly out in front of the pack.

Want more?

Why Russell Wilson deserves MVP in 2020

The NFL does not want Russell Wilson to win the MVP
Simply put: Nobody in the NFL in 2020 is playing better football than Russell Wilson. That sounds reductive, and it is — but there’s just nobody close to performing as well as the Seahawks QB is right now.

If we take Wilson’s numbers at the halfway point and extend them out over a full season, the stats he’s putting up are mind boggling:
