Just by combining passing and rushing, Cam goes from the top to the bottom. Peyton moves easily to the top, Wilson drops to simply respectable, and Mahomes is a beast who's going to eat everybody. This probably aligns with most people's assessment of these guys in their first decade of play.

In the end, Wilson has strung together a consistent stretch of above-average seasons with a couple of great ones thrown in. Score him by above-average seasons and he beats everybody. Score him by great seasons and others surpass him.

Wrong. You need to add SBs and MVPs and making the first team Pro Bowl and remove some other categories. Do you really think throwing for 60% completions is more telling of a QBs play than winning a SB or an MVP? The categories are not reflective of your final conclusion. Also add rushing yards to passing yards and call it total yards. You shouldn't get double the points for 4,000 passing yards and 400 rushing yards than you get for 5,000 passing yards.

Most importantly, these ranking systems in general are dumb and misleading. You don't get any more points for throwing 100 TDs than you do for throwing 30TDs and you get the same number of points for having a 60% comp rate as you do 30 TDs or 4,000 yards. You need to add up all of the stats for 9 years not compartmentalize them in this way. The flaws in using this and then saying for a 9 year period he was the best in such a cocksure way is off base. Maybe he was and maybe he wasn't, but this points system isn't proving anything
