I really couldn't deal with that shit yesterday.

I've still never turned off a Bears game, but I was about as disinterested in that 4th quarter as you'll ever find me.

Sooo sick of that team beating us. So sick of Jay throwing balls to their secondary.

I was underwhelmed by both defenses yesterday, and time will tell if they're both as bad as they played. You could probably take the best players from both defenses and field a pretty decent defense, but separately, they just look sub-par.

As bad as the defenses were, the refs were double-fudged for both teams. Their performance needs to be analyzed by the league and that entire crew should be suspended for the rest of the year!

Good luck the rest of the way out, and we'll see you again in a few months!

Actually, only a little more than one month. I bought tickets to the game up there in Lambeau, and can't wait to go. But I think I'll likely have a long and angry car ride home after another loss to the Pack.

Sweet dude! Have a great time! I'm pushing 50 years old, have been a Packer fan my entire life, and I've never been to Lambeau! You beat me to it!

And I was piled on for not being threatened by your offseason free agency championship. Same old Bears. Same old Jay. Same tired ass team. This isn't even a rivalry anymore.

No, to refresh everyone's memory with the actual facts, you were piled on for acting like the Packers had nothing to worry about in the North rivals and you shouldn't even worry about it, instead only worry about other NFC teams. The Packers are in the 3-way tie for 2nd in the North, so draw whatever conclusion you want as far as that goes, but your attempt to recast what it was you actually did say is typical for you.

Have fun... I have not been to game there in years after moving far away. If not tailgating, I liked hitting Stadium View bar before games and parking somewhere on that side and making walk back and forth.

Krolls used to have really good food.

If staying overnight on Saturday hope you already have hotel booked.

Yup. Booked it a couple of weeks ago. My lord, I thought I was hitting it early, but I barely found anything and paid for it in price too.

I was planning on hitting up some Packers forums, for the best spots to head to on Saturday night and Sunday for the noon games. I think after that, we're planning on doing a little tailgating. I know you can buy parking passes to the stadium, but I was also wondering if there were any lots that would be cheaper. That allow beer, grilling, etc… If that's going to be a hassle, I suppose it's not the end of the world to shell out some money for the Lambeau lot passes.

I'll keep in mind Stadium View and Krolls too. Thanks.

The refs did suck, both ways. I thought it was pretty even in the number actually for both sides. The bears saw benefit early, the packers later overall. I hate to notice officiating in a game. It's better when you don't even know they are there.

I really don't know about that. Off the top of my head, the two worst calls against the Packers gave the Bears a few extra yards after we'd picked up first downs. Two of the worst calls against the Bears kept Packers drives alive when we'd held them to FG tries, and led directly to TDs.

The calls themselves were abominations, sure. Pure, uncut awfulness knows no allegiance.

But their effect was dramatically tilted against Chicago.

And that's not even counting the very worst decision made by a ref: not to call Bennett's TD a TD and let it go up for review. A crew with its collective head screwed on straight makes the responsible call there, even if it's so close that they know it might not be the right one.

I have done tailgating there for years in the stadium parking lot and in paces around the stadium. You will be able to tailgate in just about any place you find to park. The lots closer to the stadium will of course cost more like $30 to $40 but the farther you get away it will be in the $20 range. Most of the stores in the area turn their parking lots into parking for the game as nobody is going to the stores during the game anyway. As far a time to get there to tailgate I would suggest at least 3 hours before game time but 4 hours is better.

With it being a night game they may open the lots in the surrounding area around Lambeau Field sooner.

Krolls and the Stadium bar were mentioned above. If you head up Hwy 41 and exit at Lombardi Ave as you head toward the stadium you will see many parking lots on your right. One is like a closed down Kmart. Once you are in that area you are close to the Stadium Bar and Krolls.

Are you wondering if the prices are the same for the bear fans? lol

Maybe you should consider a cheese head and a green jacket when you are looking.

Ha Ha well the price will be the same for Bear fans and you will find many Bear fans tailgating in and around Lambeau. There is always a good amount of Bear fans there but the Pack fans except a few drunk ones always treat the opposing fans with respect.

Yeah, I've heard that they're pretty good people up there. And I really don't mind some heckling. Even if it's in poor taste, I've dealt with it before. I just smile and ignore it.

lol… True. But I've tailgated a ton of Bears/Pack games at Soldier Field, and GB fans always get in fine. I'm not overly worried.
