The games that concern me in 2012

Why a chip on the shoulder? The bowl? If that were the case we certainly should of come out and decimated UTC after Washington last year. But they played with us all day long and they weren't half the team S. Miss is.

Because we will have 39 Seniors........the most out of any team in College Football in 2012.

And they are going to want to go out as winners.

Let me jest put it this way for ye folks..........

Nebraska started players this season with a total of 28 Varsity Letters. That's averaging about 1.2 years experience per player.

In 2012 we return starters with a total of 44 Varsity Letters. That's averaging 2 years experience per player.

Big difference en sech.

I normally would be nervous to play them.........but I'm just not nervous this time. I think we will come out with a chip on our shoulder and ready to prove something, and I think we will just blow them up.

I mean, they'll still play solid football. We might not score 35 points, but we're gonna win by at least 21.

The vast majority of teams that NU used to steamroll year in and year out had chips on their shoulders. It didn't get them past the 1st quarter.

NU needs to get bigger, faster, and play consistently. They need to build off of success instead of squandering it.

I was pretty bummed a couple days ago just looking back at our season, but honestly it doesn't surprise me with the positions that we lacked experience at this season. That combined with the fact that we were in a brand new league makes it pretty tough.

I will say this, in the past 10 years, I have never been so sure that we can go to a BCS game as I am in 2012. A 2-loss season is what I'm aiming for.........but I am predicting a 1-loss season.

That is exaggeration...........

But as I said before, having that many seniors in practice pushing the team is far more important than the average spectators ever really realize.

There are a lot of kids who walked on here at Nebraska just to be a part of a Championship team............those are the type of kids who decide now in the off-season that we aren't going down the same way in 2012 that we did in 2010 and 2011.

line play will guide this team and beck needs to learn how to call an offense better. We have possibly 3 outstanding running backs - Rexy shouldn't have more than 20-25 carries a game.

Burkhead will be a Heisman candidate............he is a Senior.

The Offensive Line is going to be better, and Peat is going to start immediately.....and be a beast.

The Defense played confused this entire year........they were very young. Next season they will be more experienced. Seisay will come right in and make a huge impact. Mark my word, the Defense will win us games next season.
