As it is, the financial situation with the Nets suggests that Dinwiddie should be on the trade block by Feb's trade deadline...

It's either this, or the Nets will waive and stretch Chandler's contract, leaving a roster spot open in the postseason.

In any case, it would be dump for them to go into the lux tax this season (where they go nowhere) for a small amount and "cut" a whole season from the space they have before they become repeaters tax eligible.
