What I am saying is that Anthony Davis (if resigns) + 14 empty roster spots is better than what most NBA rosters have in terms of their “future”.

Call it what you want. At least half the teams you rank ahead of the Lakers have a mediocre future at best. I would venture to guess that at least 3 or 4 of those teams will never even make the playoffs with their current cores.

so yes, the Lakers future is a lot brighter than what you claim despite the uncertainty. Because they have Anthony Davis.

Just like Milwaukee’s future is bright. Because they have Giannis.

Anthony Davis + 14 roster spots >>>>> Traveon Graham + Miles Bridges + Malik Monk + PJ Washington + everyone else they got. And it isn’t even close.

Because Davis can attract another star and the Hornets will probably be mediocre at best.

Besides, that LeBron dude can still play. And I take a 39 year old LeBron over any of those dudes hands down.

then the Bucks are bottom 5 in the league in terms of future. Their current future is bright because of Giannis. That is the reason. Take him away and they are competing for a low playoff spot with no upside whatsoever.
