So he did win 4? damn that's impressive...

Did you miss where I said 4 straight mvp caliber years? Please find me all the people who have done that. And I mean legit case for mvp not like oh they were pretty good.

Here's why I can't put Trout anywhere near Mantle yet

Trout's 162 game averages through last season (24 years old)

.304 average, 35 HR's, 99 RBI's 28 steals

Now here are the 162 game averages for another well known outfielder, only this is for two more full seasons (age 26) than Trout has done it

.274 average, 40 HR's, 123 RBI, 23 steals

The 1st players #'s are 162 game average through 652 games played. Player 2's #'s were 162 game average through 853 games played, meaning player 2 posted those #'s for more than 200 games than Trout has played so far, so basically Trout 2 years from now

Was the 2nd player Mantle? Uh, No

Jose Canseco

Those aren't remotely similar. Canseco only finished in the top 10 in mvp voting twice in those 6 years and had a WAR of over 3 only half those years. Trout's been top 2 in mvp voting 4 straight years and his lowest WAR in that stretch is higher than cansecos highest in his stretch. So I'm not sure what the point of canseco in this is.

You are full of crap
Those #'s are 162 game averages, you can't dilute them. Canseco averages more Homers, a Hell of a lot more RBI and nearly as many steals as Trout. I guess that .25 points in average covers that up. LOL

You do realize MVP voting is done by people with an opinion and that you are judged against the people who are also playing in the same league as you, Canseco's offensive numbers are right there with Trout's, what the hell does MVP voting have to do with it? I don't look like an idiot you do for trying to go on after you were just put in your place.

Cmon UK I know for a fact you're smarter than this.

If you're using RBI's first of all just dont. How do you explain the war and mvp voting gap that is pretty massive.

Plus you left out the .5 in obp and in slugging. But you mentioned rbis...? Seems odd.

Maybe cuz he was never even close to trout....?
35 HR's, 99 RBI's and 28 steals per 162 through 652 games and you're saying 40 Homers, 123 RBI and 23 steals per 162 through 853 games isn't even close?

You're embarrassing yourself

You sound like Milk. WAR isn't everything, and I can assure you, through age 26, Jose Canseco was every bit as good as Mike Trout

No they arent. If you think that 6 year stretch touches trouts 4 years than I really don't know what the hell you're thinking. Make your argument for all timers if you will but don't deny facts and make yourself look stupid.
