I expected Boston to do what they did. We have the best talent in the league and the shooting and ball movement was superb. but I did not expect what I saw from Golden State. Watched them dominate the glass and send wave after wave of good players at the other team the entire game. They just went up and down the court and if we aren't the fastest team in the league then Golden State certainly is.

Slow down, buddy. They were playing the Blazers after all.

Probably. I just happened to watch their game because I couldn't sleep and I didn't think they played that style of ball and were that aggressive on the boards. Impressive. Not the Celtics, certainly, but unexpectedly tough

Well, we certainly aren't worried about OKC. They come to the Gahden and they will get crushed.
What I would expect from you, basketball people know different

Yeah, I guess they were pretty good last year. Don't get to see much basketball in the West. Its on too late. I freely admit to not being "a basketball person"; just a fan.

He's a huge homer. Boston is champions until they are not. OKC is just a young team that lost to a better Dallas team last year. The same thing will happen again unless they avoid them like they want to

Boston is going to be really tough to beat 4 times by anyone they come up against in the post season

You are a Celtics fan...why do you have the Mavericks as one of the 3 team logos on your account?

I had the misfortune of living and working in Dallas for several years. The only good thing about the place was the Mavericks. Basketball and football are probably the only sports I follow.

That's what she said

He was my favorite Warriors player, gotta pick a new one...Curry is the obvious choice but that's boring LOL
I've seen a little of Kuminga and he looks special. Will Kerr take the reins off of him though

This year will be interesting for the Ws, other than Curry almost every other player might not be in the starting lineup every day. They go like 12 deep with legit rotation level players, so it will be both a blessing and a curse to have so many pieces to configure depending on matchups.

Kuminga should get more minutes most nights. We'll see if he shows something, he is holding out for more money so he's motivated for sure.

I saw that last night watching their game. I did not expect that team to be that deep, run that much and rebound the way they did. They were my "unexpected" in th title of this thread.
Contract years are great motivators for playing hard but they also can create problems. We had that problem in Boston when Jaylen Brown wanted to leave this great team because he wasn't getting paid what he thought he was worth and he was causing trouble. He needed to get the ball in order to bring his numbers up to where he could get a max contract. It didn't sit well with some of the guys and certainly not with the fans. Winning cures a lot of that as I guess Warrior fans well know.

They hired Jerry Stackhouse to help in the player development department... That way they're not reliant on geezers year-in and year-out the way they have been.
