Never heard of this show until about a year ago and then I binged all 3 seasons. I'm currently re-binging because I thought Season 4 might be coming soon. Sucks that we still have to wait a few more months.

Just finished season one and it reminded me of something I found a bit odd. After Miller leaves Ceres we don't see Ceres anymore. It seemed like they were building up Miller's partner (and to a lesser extent the prostitute teaching him belter talk), Miller's sort of love interest before Julie, and his boss who they revealed to be a villain, to all be important characters but they just dropped them all completely.

Does that happen in the books too? I read they might have rushed through some of the material because they weren't sure how many seasons they'd get.

That being said, I do really like some of the characters introduced in season 2, especially Draper, Drummer, and the Asian guy looking for his daughter.

So who is watching?

Still such an amazing show. Only 3 episodes in but loving it.

Just started watching about a month ago based on reviews here. Finished up the first three seasons last night. Fantastic show, and really remarkable SFX quality considering what had to be a relatively small Sci-Fi channel budget.

Looking forward to seeing how it looks with Amazon $$ behind it now.

Only 3 episodes in so far but I am really liking the new season.

I think it was a mistake to release the entire season at once like Netflix does to be honest. By stretching it out longer the "water cooler talk" lasts longer which could make more people curious about it. Not to mention there would be a lot more articles/videos reviewing it since it would be on a weekly basis, instead of a bunch of longer ones all at once. Stranger Things seems to do well dumping them all at once but I think it's an exception. It managed to capture mainstream attention right away, whereas this show did not and barely survived getting cancelled.

I signed up for Amazon when it was released and will watch it within a month (which I got for free but won't next season) and then cancel because I'm not really interested in anything else on Amazon. I'm hoping a lot of others do the same so that the data will show a lot of interest in the Expanse.

Overall happy with season 4. Not quite as much 'action' maybe, but a pretty good flow of story arcs and action where it was needed. Left a lot of cliffhangers for season 5. Won't leave any spoilers. I agree that stretching it out makes it easier to talk about the show because there is no expectation of spoiling things once you are several days past the release of single episodes. Hard to tell where those lines are with full season dumps.

Ashford's death. I was starting to like that character, and the dynamic between him and Drummer. But I mostly disliked it because I thought it looked awful for a show that has always had great visuals.

Just finished. I enjoyed this season much more than the previous seasons. I suspect because I binged it. It is a tough show to follow, so binging is really the only way to go.

I may go back and rewatch to pick up all the sub stories I missed.
