Sproles reportedly not only has a broken arm, but also a torn ACL.

The latter would mean that Sproles would go on IR, his season is over, and thus probably his career...

Awful news. What a great player to watch the last few years. I'm not sure how they will be able to replace him. Maybe Pumphrey can get healthy and provide some of that same spark that Sproles brought.

I hope he proves me wrong, but I think Pumphrey will go the practice squad next year, as we add 2 tough RB's. He is too small and frail for the NFL.

Sproles was one of my favorite recent eagles. It's a real shame to see him go down and possibly out like this. I'm not sure he will return to the NFL after this. But was one helluva runner and goes in the same category as Westbrook in my book.

I'm not sure I see smallwood being nearly as good. I'd love to see more of Clements. We clearly need to look at RB in the draft. But I think way too much is made of Blount being over the hill. We need to use this hammer and start hitting nails. He is our best RB option.
