I don't see why that's so funny. Foles actually performed good in Philly so that is actually not a bad idea
Its hard to say but I'm skeptical. Foles basically can't throw the ball more than 10yds down the field. You can scheme around that but you really, really shouldn't. The only argument that would make sense is if Foles was intentionally tanking on the Rams.I don't see why that's so funny. Foles actually performed good in Philly so that is actually not a bad idea

He has one bad season on a shitty team and all of sudden he's some awful QB....OK
Basically all we have with Foles is one season where he was the most efficient QB in the NFL, one season where he played 50/50 with Mark Sanchez and one season where he was the worst starting QB in the NFL. The trend suggests that he is getting worse not better.I'm just not ready to declare him as some bad QB already. I need to see him struggle for more than one season before making that decision
Alex Smith with head trauma to where he can't read NFL defenses at all, maybe. He was bad in 2014 too once teams had keyed on how to defend that offense. I never said he was awful. He can manage a game if he has a running game and some nice weapons to throw to, but he's not someone who can win big games. Basically. Poor man's Alex Smith.

You're comparing a great game manager to a guy that just throws it because it seems like a good idea
Alex Smith is also way more mobile than Nick Foles.Yeah, that's why I said poor man's. He's not on his level at all.
Does this mean Sam Bradford to the LA Rams?
