Go bet there with all my blessing....You mean like the assholes that do the same thing on other sites?
Well I wasn’t talking about meGo bet there with all my blessing....

There was one bet made prior to 6pm when the odds changed....the rest were made about an hour before tip off. Had I not been busy I would have locked that bet and changed the odds for anyone going forward but by the time I saw it it was probably 6 or 7 of the everyday bettors having made large sum bets. The last sportsbookie would've placed his own bet and then changed the odds for everyone else. In my discretion I refunded everyone and informed them to bet again. It’s all good, I get it. I had bet less than 1 percent of my stack though, certainly still could have lost easily.
I guess I missed any notification, I was just surprised I didn’t get paid this morning. There was one bet made prior to 6pm when the odds changed....the rest were made about an hour before tip off. Once a bet is made should it ever be cancelled?
Nope.

Great points. The old bookie sometimes closed outcomes to further betting after there was line movement, and added new options with the adjusted lines, but he still honored previous bets that had already been placed. That is consistent with what real books do, and what should be done.
No bets should ever be voided based on line movement. It's a slippery slope. How much line movement, and in what time period, for it to count as sufficient line movement to void bets?
There's no consistency here now on decisions of whether to void bets. On this game, the bets were voided as a push when the game result turned out to go against the house. But a few days earlier, on this game, the house kept the bets and didn't void them when the game result turned out in favor of the house.
If bettors react to line movement by placing large stakes, the bettors are taking on the risk of overbetting and getting their bankroll wrecked from the line movement being wrong, which it often is, as in the example above. There is greater potential reward, but it comes with commensurately greater risk of disaster.
The house getting to pick and choose which bets to honor based on whether the game result is to the benefit of the house is completely unfair.
The notifications didn't work. I didn't see a notification either, and there's no notification in the Alert history page.
Bookie has authority to deal with shenanigans...the line moved at 6pm and big bets were placed after 9pm before line could be corrected. If I see shenanigans I will correct it. If I miss it then good luck to you. No bets are ever changed once a game has started.
If you didn't receive an alert then you should change your settings to receive all notices of sportsbook comments...
Regarding "no bets are ever changed once a game has started," are you saying that no bets will be cancelled once games have started?
Already have all the sportsbook alerts on in the Preferences. But the Preferences are very specific about what actually sends alerts:
Users don't get alerts to new sportsbook comments unless they have specifically clicked Watch on that game ("Comments on a watched sportsbook event or bet"), get quoted in the sportsbook comment ("Quotes your sportsbook event or bet comment"), or are specifically pinged by username with the @ syntax ("Mentions you in a sportsbook event or bet comment").
Have to specifically ping all the users who placed bets with the @ syntax, or people aren't going to get alerts.
I read an article on this that sportsbooks really weren't going to change much to start the season and then adjust if needed after seeing how the new clock effects the games.I know we’re only one or two games into the college football season, but have any of you noticed whether the over under is for total points have gone down now with the running clock?
