No it’s not and it’s definitely not more important then left or right tackle. Did I say Centers have no purpose. Kickers aren’t as important as QBs but that’s not me saying Kickers should just fall down and not kick the ball.
You “Centers are so important” people coming up with arbitrary and capricious arguments

What’s the difference from a LT or LG blocking a DL from a Center blocking a DL? The LT blocks quick edge rushers. Center blocks powerful NT. Both save a QB’s ass. Plus Centers are more important in the run game. Centers call the line schemes. LT’s don’t.

Reading comprehension isn't your strong point is it.

It isnt my strong point but He whittled it down 90 percent leaving out the 5 tackles that made the list. From the get go I said the top 100 list and he changes it to top 10.
5 tackles
Zero Centers

The better athletes play out further. The lesser athletes play inside.

You've been whittling things down for years.
Since RB went #2 in the draft does that now mean it's the 2nd most important position in football?

No. It’s a long history and you take the averages. RBs weren’t going really high for a few years because people were devaluing them. One case isn’t a representation of 50 years of drafts. But RB is more important then C

Doesn't matter. obviously, with 32 teams, the QB's, RB's and WR's are going to be listed first...

but you said that "centers don't have HUGE impact on games"

you are wrong, everyone knows you're wrong, and moving the goal posts won't prove that you aren't wrong.

Give it up, bro, dude, broseph…..nobody is buying your bullshit. you've lost...will continue to lose...and are a loser.

I think Jarntt moved the goalposts on this one and that saying “Moving the goalposts” is becoming a bigger platitude then/than “triggered”

Centers... haha

No shit they weren't going early, but it wasn't due to their importance it was due to teams decided they could get quality backs later.

I'll say this again. The draft number has nothing to do with importance.

He may have moved them, but it's hard to tell as you've moved them so many times they're no longer in the stadium.

He primarily plays end now. You telling me Nose tackles and Centers are better athletes then DEs and Tackles? Of course not.

@Ojb81 what are you face palming about. You think Centers are better athletes then LTs and DT are better then DE athletically? Come on.

He's a DT not a DE.

He is but he plays end a lot and the reason he is the best DT is because he is a great athlete. They usually play on the end cause they are fast and more agile. The point is most DEs are faster and more athletic then DTs and Centers are often college guards and tackles that aren’t athletic enough to play on the ends (tackle) in the NFL.
