Anthony Davis of New Orleans Pelicans has fractured hand - ESPN

No timetable announced yet for his return but that's a devastating loss for NO. The race for 8th in the West is extremely tight and this will probably knock them out of it. I can't see them winning many games without him. Davis has been balling out this year so far. Well on his way to getting his first All-Star selection

Pelicans had been playing really well and especially him before he got hurt - that's going to hurt them a lot

Figures this happens right when they start looking good. Anderson can make up for his scoring, but we're really going to be hurting on rebounds.

I think he could be back in 4-6 weeks? If it doesn't need surgery.

He will miss a month or so and like Fear said Anderson is a down grade but he could start on a lot of teams.

Kind of a freak accident, I hope he bulks up a bit.


He said he does not want to remove his brow because that is how god made him, makes me wonder if that means he will not work out for the same reasons? That always bothered me.

Body type has absolutely nothing to do with this injury. JJ Redick and Paul Pierce both broke their hands over the weekend too. Guess they need to bulk up

JJ probably does, I probably bench more than him...I weigh 10 lbs less though and he is 6 inches taller.
