Please dude, do you see Riley ever turning Nebraska into a top tier team? The dude did nothing at Oregon St. His resume is so bland and apathetic it's sad.

Mike Riley has had one 10-win season, three 9-win seasons, and two 8-win seasons at Oregon State.

Nick Saban had no 10-win seasons, two 9-win season (1 being at Toledo in 1990), no 8-win seasons as MSU coach. Why would LSU ever be interested in him? During his first season at LSU, he was 3-3 (with a loss to UAB).

Let me guess, Saban was a horrible hire for LSU, right?

Do I think he will be a Nick Saban, no. Do I think he could build that program up to a 10-win team? Yes, but he might need to do his own recruiting, because Bo's guys don't fit Riley's style.

Yeah firing a guy who gets you 9-10 wins a yr is a good thing.

If your program would be happy with a ceiling of four losses per year, two of which are blowouts, that's your choice. I would be furious. They won pretty much every close game for years and they still wound up ranked outside the top 20. That means your team sucks,

Using Nick Saban as an example is a pretty high standard. I'll be absolutely shocked if Riley lasts more than 5-6 years at Nebraska. He may be gone sooner than that.

5-6 years is fair IMO if a team is firing for the W-L reason.

God, you are such a shitstain. Stave's receivers dropped two 30+ yard TDs and two other deep passes and the offense has still scored 41 points. He's done it with a completely depleted group. One pick-six doesn't undo that.

Riley's 62 years old. He could be the second coming of Tom Osborne after this year and he probably wouldn't coach for more than six years.

Badgers would only have one loss if Houston was the starter this year. What does stave have to do to be benched besides getting injured? 10 turnovers in one game??

Don't get your undies in a bundle. Stave is just being Stave, passing under 50%, more int's than TD's scoring more points for the opposing team than for his own, negative rush yards, etc. All of this when the defense and rushing attack is dominating. He's the Jay Cutler of the NCAA and that's a compliment.

(1.) No. It is over 50%. And that is with 6 WR drops on 25 throws.

(2.) Again, only because of drops. One of his two picks was a perfectly thrown TD ball to Erickson that he dropped. Also had dropped TDs by Peavy and Fumagali.

(3.) OMG...a pure pocket passer behind a terrible and injured line with negative rushing yards in college football! It couldn't be.

And of course, your boy Houston comes in and misses two open receivers and goes 3 and out. Good call, buddy. Just start an alt for whatever team you actually like and get yourself kicked out of here please.

It sucks that Corey was injured this year. Watching him, it's remarkably clear that we would be heading for an 11-1 season and a game against OSU for a trip to the playoffs had he been healthy. He's already made two TDs where our other RBs would not have made it past the line of scrimmage.
At first I laughed at this but seeing the schedule yes it would have been another trip to the B1GCCG but then it would have been another shalacking by tOSU

Last week Houston looked better than Stave ever has. Houston is not my boy. Anyone not named Stave should be playing hell even the water boy at QB deserves a chance. But literally come on be serious I mean the guy scored all the points for Iowa with 10 points on 4 turnovers and we lost 10-6. Stave will continue to start and play terrible, yet no matter how terrible Not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six maybe 7 turnovers he will still start regardless of how bad he plays. Houston deserves a chance especially when Stave is having a terrible game that's all I'm saying. Competition brings the best out of players so maybe Stave will be motivated to play better so it's a win win situation.

My B1G Power Rankings

1) Ohio State (8-0, 4-0) - Last Week: 1 - Bye week does not serve costly as they have looked like the best team in the B1G. I think they have looked the best in the nation. We will see if JT's suspension is costly.
2) Iowa (8-0, 4-0) - Last Week: 3 - If I did ties, this would be one of them. Iowa has won by a combined score 110-51 in the month of October, and allowed 1 rushing TD all season.
3) Michigan State (8-0, 4-0) - Last Week: 2 - Spartans dominated Indiana last week, but had close games vs Michigan, Rutgers, and Purdue prior to that. But they keep winning and a win over Ohio State would guarantee a spot above Iowa..
4) Wisconsin (7-2, 4-1) - Last Week: 5 - Getting Corey Clement back from injury helped Wisconsin roll past Rutgers 48-10. Wisconsin has only allowed 3 TDs in a game once.
5) Penn State (7-2, 3-1) - Last Week: 6 - Even though Penn State barely beat Army and got destroyed by Ohio State, they completely destroyed Illinois today.
6) Michigan (6-2, 2-1) - Last Week: 4 - They looked like the most dominant B1G team at one point. A few more inches and they would be 5-3. This was after a bye week and an embarrassing finish vs MSU.
7) Northwestern (6-2, 2-2) - Last Week: 7 - Bye week didn't help or hurt the Cats. Not going to put them above Michigan who destroyed them a few weeks ago and there's a huge gap after them.
8) Minnesota (4-4, 1-3) - Last Week: 10 - Michigan dropped 2 spots after beating Minnesota, Minnesota rises 2 spots after losing. This is because they were the most impressive loss, if that is a thing.
9) Maryland (2-6, 0-3) - Last Week: 13 - Believe it or not, there was a point in the 2nd half where Maryland was less than 20 yards from being down by 7, then Desmond King scored a 88-yard pick-6.
10) Rutgers (3-5, 1-3) - Last Week: 11 - Rutgers bumps up 2 spots after their loss. Illinois showed 0 power and Nebraska allowed Purdue to score 55 points.
11) Indiana (4-4, 0-4) - Last Week: 12 - Bye week didn't so much help them as Illinois and Nebraska has looked that bad. Scary thing is, this team scares the crap out of me.
12) Illinois (4-4, 1-3) - Last Week: 8 - They have been outscored 105-47 in B1G play. Before this week, they were just outscored 66-47 in B1G play.
13) Nebraska (3-6, 1-4) - Last Week: 9 - Yes Nebraska did lose to Purdue, but they at least scored 38 points and this is their first loss that was not due to a play at the end of the game. They also won at Minnesota
14) Purdue (2-6, 1-3) - Last Week: 14 - Yes, they did destroy Nebraska, but this was their 1st win vs FBS this season. There was a huge gap there.

IDK, Indiana plays the top teams strong and tend to suck vs the crappy teams. I would love a "rout" in Indiana, though.

My B1G Power Rankings

1) Ohio State (9-0, 5-0)
- Last Week: 1 - Buckeyes' win over Minnesota may have not looked as impressive as it should, but they have looked impressive almost all season long and are currently in the CFP ranking top 4.
2) Iowa (9-0, 5-0) - Last Week: 2 - Iowa's win was not pretty, but Iowa remains undefeated. They actually took a two-score lead after trailing late in the game.
3) Wisconsin (8-2, 5-1) - Last Week: 4 - Wisconsin has been pretty consistent since losing to Iowa. They may have not been very dominant, but their defense has been very strong.
4) Michigan (7-2, 3-1) - Last Week: 6 - If I did ties, Michigan would tie Wisconsin. However, a dominant performance vs Rutgers does not pass Wisconsin because the previous 2 games weigh them down.
5) Northwestern (7-2, 3-2) - Last Week: 7 - Northwestern dominated the first half but gave up the lead in 2nd half. They did pull off the victory vs Penn State.
6) Michigan State (8-1, 4-1) - Last Week: 3 - I know MSU beat Michigan. Everyone saw it. But MSU just lost to a team with more losses than the teams Wisconsin, Michigan, and Northwestern lost to combined.
7) Penn State (7-3, 3-2) - Last Week: 5 - Penn State choked against Northwestern, but they have looked impressive lately. Good gap between MSU and PSU and huge gap between PSU and Nebraska.
8) Illinois (5-4, 2-3) - Last Week: 12 - Illinois just dominated the team that dominated Nebraska, but I cannot put them ahead of a team that dominated them last week.
9) Nebraska (4-6, 2-4) - Last Week: 13 - Nebraska had biggest upset of B1G so far, but they also got embarrassed by Purdue.
10) Minnesota (4-5, 1-4) - Last Week: 8 - Minnesota has put up strong effort lately, but just not enough. Jerry Kill will be missed
11) Maryland (2-7, 0-4) - Last Week: 9 - Maryland gives Wisconsin a strong game following a strong performance vs Iowa, but they just don't have any B1G wins.
12) Rutgers (3-6, 1-4) - Last Week: 10 - Rutgers beat Indiana but haven't really looked good this season. They are on a 3-game L streak and outscored 146-33 in last 3 games.
13) Indiana (4-5, 0-5) - Last Week: 11 - Howard is no Coleman, but Indiana does have strong run game. They tend to do better vs top teams than teams like Rutgers, but have yet to win a B1G game.
14) Purdue (2-7, 1-4) - Last Week: 14 - Last week, Purdue finally beat an FBS team. This week, they got dominated by Illinois.
