Must be a down season when you have to keep arguing about cancelled games. Go home sparty
Sorry about your losses MSU fans, what an awful week.

He was a placeholder for a season. That much is very clear to anyone who watches football. Semantics aren't going to bail you out on this one, dude.He said he wasn’t the real head coach, he even said it in his reply he wasn’t the real head coach. Fickell’s head Coach status fluctuates based on how it fits his narrative.
I think I gave you one. I thought you were referring to their basketball and football losses over the week.why'd I get a funny rating? I was talking about Winston and Charles Rogers. the UM-MSU rivalry doesn't matter here, both passings fucking suck.
I can't believe that Rogers was only 38 years old. Didn't feel like it was that long ago when he was destroying defenses.
Ehhh I say give him more than a season and a half
He's going to be just fine. A school like Nebraska is never too far gone.Ehhh I say give him more than a season and a half
Riley was a nice guy, but cmon, he left them bare

Overall I agree, I think he'll be fine. I don't know if they'll ever be a consistent college elite again, I do think they can be consistent B1GW contenders (once PJ leaves for a bigger better school)
PJ may leave, but I'm not going to stress about it. There are few factors:
1. PJ is a midwest guy and likes it here in the midwest
2. MN has upgraded their facilities and there is plenty of B1G money to make us competitive in offer
3. PJ Himself. I don't see Notre Dame, FL State, etc tolerating Row The Boat and his mantras. If PJ can't be PJ, I don't see him leaving. I think U of MN and PJ are a really good match
4. I understand anything is possible, if he goes, I wish him best. I think only situation I'd be bitter if went to rival for lower annual salary or something.
Listening to him speak, this sounds like a legacy job for him, as well. Like it's bigger than anything else he could do. Building, for lack of better terms, an actual program and making it sustainable.
Year 1 was digging the hole.
Year 2, the foundation.
Year 3, the framing.

I could see this being a 10 year or more job.
He could become your "Barry Alvarez". Totally turn the program around and make it a sustainable culture.
