three straight weeks of crap will cuz rash decisions. I'm still not convinced
I'm not so sure you can call something a rash decision when you were still wanting Hollywood prices for your guys. It's not like you were trying to dump them for 3rd rounders next year.

Lefty and I got a small one done.

My dumbass didn't bother to look ahead at bye weeks, and I've been sitting on two guys off this week, so was forced to make some strange moves..as I'm sure anyone paying attention to the transaction history can probably see..and I was doing the moves at the same time Lefty accepted the offer, so I just kept right on going, grabbing schmuck QB's who might have an outside shot at playing, and even one who had no shot (don't make roster moves before being properly caffeinated people!)

anyways-

I send Michael Wilson to Lefty, and receive Joshua Dobbs..here's to praying that the new guy can connect with JJ upon his return! (the sooner the better)

Well I'm assuming he's just a one week rental anyway and both of you just traded waiver wire guys to each other so I don't think it's that catastrophic. Besides, now you've cleared a bunch of roster space for awesome additions. If it makes you feel any better I picked up guys last night and it wasn't until today that I realized my freaking kicker was on a bye so I had to drop one of them to make room.

I dunno..I think M. Wilson has a better than average shot at being a contributor once ARZ figures out a steady QB..whether that's Murray or a new guy in '24. I know I'm hanging onto him wherever I can. Dobbs is an extreme long shot to contribute past this year, and yea, not likely to be anything other than week 10 starter for my Mahommes bye..but if needed, I guess he gives me the JJ/QB stack in Minn., so I got that going for me, which is nice.

I think with Dad's roster there will need to be a lot of injuries on his team for Michael Wilson to ever see his lineup as he is currently either his WR7 or WR8 depending on whether you think he's better than Khalil Shakir or not.

I think he's a better WR than Shakir, but Shakir is a better fit with his howitzer armed QB than whatever you can say for Wilson's situation. If Shakir played in ARZ, no one would know his name, he'd just be another track star at WR

Yes, he may very well be 7 or 8 this yr but you never know what the future has in-store. At least now I have several younger guys for when the wheels fall of my long-time, tried and true starters. ....... maybe they hit.
BTW - @TREFF if you find yourself questioning whether to start Dobbs or Mahomes you know where to find me - I'll certainly take the second guy off your hands to avoid such decisions.

All I will say is that patience has never been one of your fantasy football virtues. Chances are that if he ever does turn into anything great it will be long after you've given up on him. Not that I can say anything as I've had the exact same problem in the past.

That is a fact. I have certainly moved on from some gems at times. .....

losing out on an eventual stud that was heavy on potential but light on production while on your roster is damn near inevitable if you are playing the game to win and actively trading. hopefully you got some decent assets in return, even if they were short-term for a title push.

Fout and I did a deal. He sends Engram and Brooks for Monkey 2nd, Everett and K. White. Felt I needed an upgrade at TE and IDP so what the heck. As a footnote - Monkey and I went back and forth a number times in an effort to get something done along the same lines - which was fun. In the end, I took players a tad below the value of the ones we discussed, but the capital it cost me was less as well. ....
