Just an FYI for those of you with upcoming Mexican League Fantasy Football drafts. I couldn’t find that message board.

So I'm sure you guys saw the trade by now, but I send the 1.8 and Denzel Mims to Roll Tide for the 2.1 and Dallas Goedert.

Saw that guess You weren’t sold on any single player still on the board. Normally I would expect you to get his 2022 first in the deal.

He wasn't going to do that again although it would have been awesome. Tight end was a much bigger need position for me than wide receiver is in this league and I already was able to draft two running backs at 1.1 and 1.7 which was my other big need. Smith was the guy I would have taken at 1.8 if I took the pick but adding a starting tight end and moving back 5 spots seemed worth it to me and I've been trying to unload either Mims or Crowder all freaking pre-season because I didn't want two Jets wide receivers.

well, not sure if Bandit tried, but I took a stab and couldn't get him to show any interest in moving his 2022 1st. Then that evolved (or devolved???) into the deal we just did - I send my 2022 2nd and 3rd for picks 2.11 and 3.1 this year

@Bandit - I would've tried to tempt him to pay a king's ransom for Harris if I had the 1.01 here.
I had 1.01 in D2, the one dynasty league I'm in where there isn't a single Steelers boner or Bama boner, hahaha, dammit!

The problem was that he didn't want to give up any players on his roster for the 1.1 because he said he couldn't afford to (he was right). So all he would give is picks and with his highest pick this year being 2.1 even with getting future 1sts that wasn't going to be enough. He did tell me at one point that he would give me $100 cash for the pick, but I told him I didn't feel like that would be setting a very good precedent. LOL. His roster just wasn't strong enough to make any kind of run at it. If he would have offered Edwards-Helaire, Dallas Goedert, the 2.1 and a next year's 1st that would have been about as close as he could have come and I'm still not sure it would have been worth it on my end.

I think the strangest (being kind) thing I've seen in this draft was Irish trading a 2022 2nd to KOTW for some late rd random blocking TE. .....

And just two picks earlier, one of which was already his, he could've had my pick, I made it very available,- substantially cheaper to boot- and taken both that TE and his target with back to back picks

I hope it was a drunk moment because it's the only thing that would explain it. What's crazy is like Treff said, I had the 3.7 and he offered me a next year's 4th for it. I texted him after that and told him that if I had known he would give up a next year's 2nd for that guy I would have just drafted him.

Glad you all agree, sometimes I don't see the forest for the trees - I'm pretty sure that one tops his 2nd last yr for Anthony Miller. (who he dropped this yr for another random WR). To think I can't make a deal with him to save my life. .... perhaps mine make too much sense.
