Interesting match-ups coming up. Brady and Wilson will be tough to sack, but Aldon Smith always plays his best in prime-time, and both games are that. He should be able to get at least one against the Cardinals.

will he even play against the cards?

In recent memory has there been less national attention on someone chasing the sack record? Every time I see the talking heads on ESPN or NFL Network all they talk about is Watt or Von Miller. Not taking anything away from either of those guys but Aldon is 3.5 sacks away from 23!

He isn't mentioned in the Defensive MVP talk. Just like last year when he was chasing the rookie record all the talk for Rookie of the Year was for Von. Does the national media not like Aldon? Is he a difficult interview? I think this chase should get more attention.

Aldon simply needs to be expose more. If he shines during these next upcoming games in front (Nationally televised games) not only can he become a household name, but he might put himself in position to be awarded the league's defensive MVP. It all depends to what he does in front of the national media.

Funny part, even on primetime viewings, he still performs at Pro Bowl levels and still no luv....

Whatever, as long as Aldon keeps sacking, i dont care if ESPN tracks it or not.... less attention could mean less ego to worry about.

I think he sacks Brady twice. Wilson once. Arizona 2.5. Record achieved.

whenever the media talks about the niners, its always the qb stuff. nobody notices aldon except for the qb's he's laying out.

I hope he gets 5 on Brady. Man Brady picked Houston apart when he had time. Have to get in his head early and often.

Bingo Aldon thrives when he is playing in the bright lights. Here are his sack totals in primetime games so far. vs Ravens 0 vs Steelers 2.5 vs Lions 1.5 vs Seahawks 1 and vs Bears 5.5. That is 10.5 sacks in 5 primetime games!

I know he has had some off the field stuff but so did LT, Derrick Thomas, Jared Allen etc. I just feel the talking heads would rather talk about the "QB controversy" and Harbaugh then ALL DONE
