FSU put a beating on Syracuse on Tuesday night. Something I was not expecting at all. We had been really bad on the road so far this year with losses to Pitt and BC. Maybe it really was just a rough stretch having to play Pitt 2 days after a 1 point letdown to Duke and having to stay on the road for BC right after that.

Not sure how good this team is, but I feel better now than I did 2 weeks ago.

Yeah, that win surprised me a lot. We usually struggle mightily with the Syracuse zone. So to go on the road and beat them going away was a nice sign.

REALLY makes me wonder WTF on the B.C. game now...

There are limits to the "ACC Road Game" mystique. A B.C. team with a .300 winning percentage at the time and ZERO conference wins? Yeah, a top 20 team doesn't lose that like we did.

You are correct in that Wake/NCSU is one of the oldest rivalries in the country and I was even privileged to watch many of their great matchups when Wake Forest was located in the small town of Wake Forest. I, too, question how good NCSU is this year but like all good umpires I call um like I see um and if NCSU had the same RPI rating as Wake Forest has right now I would be saying the sisters of the weak should beat NCSU too.

I stick to what I said. FSU went through a bad stretch recently just like NCSU is going through right now. FSU is definitely a better team than NCSU no matter what kind of stretch either one of them are going through but many top 20 teams lose to unranked teams from time to time and particularly when they play on the road. Inexcusable yes, but it happens!

Well UVA shot better from 3-pt range than they did at Cameron, 10-24 for 41.67% ,but Duke hit 13-of-21 (.619) from three-point range tonight at Virginia, and that Pack Line defense wasn't enough, again

The game in Cameron is the type of game UVA need to beat Duke.
