Seems to happen a lot. I wish it was reversed. Would love to start with a road game then have 6 road games left to 9 home games for the rest of the schedule with the neutral game in London.
I agree with you Carl I always prefer road game week 1 but, since we have 9 home games I figure week 1 game probably be a home game. NYG is my 2nd week 1 guess.

Another good guess. If they want to make it a primetime game I could see it being the Monday night game with the Broncos and Bengals after their overtime duel this past year. I wouldn't be a fan of that choice right off the bat, but I could see the league having some intrigue to make that a primetime matchup.

One of many reasons I like the Kansas Comet that would be a GREAT primetime matchup

This just in, the jets will host the broncos in London week 6, really good news for denver, one of our away games in nullified in a neutral site and a west to east game in London is amazing for the broncos

Haven't seen this as official but speculated.

More important it also means I can probably go to the Indianapolis game. ;)

I read the Colts blocked the league from scheduling the Broncos to play them in Berlin. I don’t know if there’s any truth to this, but the fans on MHR are interpreting this, if true, as the Colts proving they’re afraid to play us!

Nothing that I'd rather get for Christmas this year, than a Broncos beatdown of the Chiefs on national television. The egg nog will only make it sweeter.

Brace yourself for a bad Christmas night.

We will out play the Chiefs and lose on some lucky call/bounce... Throwing Santa's toys all over the living room in disgust. Have a Holly Jolly Christmas, folks!

This is actually great news because Christmas is on a Thursday this year. This means there will be a late season mini-bye for the Broncos.

And a short week game on the road.
True so that's a big downside. I'm just thinking beyond that the longer break after that leading into the final game of the season could pay dividends of its own. Also, sometimes the league will play the Cowboys on TNF the week before or after Thanksgiving. I wouldn't hate the Christmas prime time game if the league put them on a regular TNF game the week prior. They've done it with the Cowboys and Thanksgiving why not the Broncos!

I think Bronco fans think we are playing the Raiders week 1

The league really seems to like that set up of Raiders/Broncos week 1 especially if they do 2 Monday Night games since both teams are Mountain/Pacific time so it isn't as late for their fans.

Naturally, as we seem to play them or the Seahawks nowadays week 1. ;)

Last year there was only one MNF game to open the season with multiple other weeks having two.

It is hard anymore to predict what the NFL will do with MNF games.
