I figure 100% a Broncos home game week 1 Raiders vs Denver is my guess
DC, SS and I will fly out to the Commanders' game if you put us up in the basement.Neighbors! I’m in NoVa

It would be great to start the season with a win over a rival.I'm honestly ok with this. Raiders with a new coaching staff things will not be ironed out and will be more prone to making mistakes. Plus it being Jeanty's first game my guess is he would have maybe just a hair of hesitation compared to when he gets the feel for the NFL speed of the game.

I would not want to lose either of these home games but if we have to lose one of these to be an international “Home” game, let it be the Raiders. They come every year, we only get the Cowgirls every 8 so that would be 16 years between the next matchup unless the stars align and we get them as our 17th game at some point.I am hearing rumors the Broncos will be featured in one of the league's overseas games. If they do I prefer it be as the visiting team, though a simple search indicates the possibility of hosting a game in Mexico City. If that is the case, I would expect the Cowboys or Raiders to be the opponent and prefer it to be the Cowboys since I would hate to see the team agree to depriving Denver of Raiders week!
I can appreciate that logic, but I don't think I can come around on it. I want the Raiders playing in Denver and I want it to be a miserable experience for them.I would not want to lose either of these home games but if we have to lose one of these to be an international “Home” game, let it be the Raiders. Looks like we won’t have to worry about losing either! If a leak I saw is real, we’ll be playing the Jets in London week 6! I’ll take that!I can appreciate that logic, but I don't think I can come around on it. I want the Raiders playing in Denver and I want it to be a miserable experience for them.
On a side note, it used to be that most teams' fans going into most seasons would just pencil in a Loss for the "@ Broncos" on their schedule. Then it became a near-automatic win. I think we are seeing a return to that "well that one's a loss" mentality from other teams fans when they see their team is playing in Denver. One good season isn't going to recreate that, and even another 10 win season this year likely won't, but as with so many other things with this team that are trending in that right direction, maybe that distinct home field advantage will also be one of them.
After nearly a decade of being a doormat, the Denver Broncos are once again considered a tough opponent. Dominant teams don't worry about the schedule. Hopefully, we're getting back into that mindset.
Go Broncos!
I think that was 2009 and it was actually 4 in a row, but the Broncos were coming off their own bye for 1 of them. And I agree, I think that can be a huge difference maker. There are only 3 things I ever worry about with the schedule that I think can have a real impact on teams. The difference in rest compared to our opponent. Couple of years ago we had like 3 games where teams were coming off their bye week to play us and I think we lost all 3. The other is when the bye week is in the schedule. I'm hoping for somewhere in the middle of the season. Too early and players start looking gassed at the end of the year. Too late in the schedule and seems like it takes a second to get fully back into things.
Final thing that I hate to see and it seems to happen to one or two teams a year is 3 straight road games.
Not playing on that turf is biggest winThis just in, the jets will host the broncos in London week 6, really good news for denver, one of our away games in nullified in a neutral site and a west to east game in London is amazing for the broncos

Week 7 bye is really good for denver imo
Raiders @ Denver is still my week 1 guess
