Which Scal (understandably well past his prime) looks pretty basic lol. Seeing handchecking like that just reminds me how much of a hack that is defensively, low skill, just mugging.

Never will understand why anyone thinks hand checking should be part of basketball.

Very little skill or athleticism required.

Mavs may have to start forfeiting games.

Mavericks may have to begin forfeiting games due to NBA rules

Which clearly means the NBA needs to change the rules.

Ridiculous that they aren’t able to bring up a G leaguer to replace injured players.

Rules should insure teams are putting the best product possible on the court.

Yeah, at the least, they should be able to extend the 2 way guys beyond the maximum number of games in a situation like this where it's legit injuries.

Wild. Never seen a team hit this bad.

Closest I've seen was in 2014 the Lakers started a game with the Cavs with only 8 players. Then, Nick Young and Jordan Farmar left with in game injuries and Chris Kaman fouled out leaving them with 5 eligible players...then Robert Sacre fouled out.

Sacre was allowed to stay in the game, but any more fouls would have been assessed as technical fouls.

Looks like the Lakers are getting some guys back.

Luka and Jaxson Hayes are listed as probable...Gabe Vincent and DFS are listed as questionable.

Two podcats I've listened to in the last week on social media have stated that the Lakers are keeping quiet the potential fact that James may be out for the rest of the season. Healing of his groin is slow and he is having trouble bending and twisting similar to what AD experienced and carried to Dallas with him. Granted, there can be a lot of BS involved when the podcasters start saying things like: "My sources tell me..."

Whether any of what was leaked is true or not remains to be discovered but if it is true, the Lakers are going to have to get everyone scoring and everyone playing Defense and no taking-off the Third Quarter that the Lakers are accustomed doing.

As a result, the Lakers just might miss the post-season altogether especially with Hachimura, DFS, Doncic, Hayes, Vanderbilt, and Vincent in various states of injury presently existing.

I am wondering why an increase in injuries with the Lakers has become prevalent especially when James went down with the appearance of starting an avalanche of injuries. Sort of strange, James goes down and like dominoes, everyone else starts to go down. What the....??
