even if true that’s not the greatest to me. Greatest to me means at your very best you were the greatest. Everyone has their opinion though.
Sorry, I can’t only judge a portion of a players’ career. You have to look at the entire picture. Lebron has been the face and a top 5 player for two decades and still arguably top 5 player at 40. He just had to face tougher competition that other eras as a whole

The entire picture is what gets you in the conversation to begin with to me.

I like thibs, poor guy is 100% committed to game . No wife , family must be very lonely.

he’s pretty basic as you know, win by keepin your best on the court , now I don’t have a problem with the minutes, I have a problem with it being stale . He’s got to change it up . Although, we are not a deep team , and he lacks any defensive schemes, it is very frustrating. And can cost you in PS . We ‘ll see

Right now the only strategy I see other than runnin your best all game is what is right time to bring back Robinson . Time enough to get him game shape and hopefully lasting more than 2 weeks, lol .

Just keep adding to win column, then let the chips fall where the may .
Cannot say I follow his teams all that closely but wonder if he'd play his starters less if he simply had better bench players. I know our coach gets a lod of credit not just for the winning but starters playing only 30-32 minutes. But if we had a ton of injuries and bench consisted of Cedi Osman, Lamar stevens, Rubio, Neto and Robin Lopez like we had in past I think he might play his starters a lot more.

Wow.

I would not have guessed Detroit for this

I guess everyone else is pretty spread out behind Boston.

Or I should say…

All the historically good franchises are.
Yeah, no idea how long each team has been around but for sure would have pegged Philly to have more than Detroit.

Thibs is thick headed

Unless you’re a divo type , highly doubt it

Lakers 3 seed Warriors 6 seed very plausible, bummer for ratings to knock one of em out early

I think for the ratings it would be better for the Lakers to play the Mavs in the first round.

Let Luka knock them out in 5 and then take out Steph in round two!

More like Zach Levine was. Giddey is kind of their best player now
It’s been weird though, he really struggled until mid January but it really didn’t seem like the team had committed to giving him the ball like I thought they would. I guess Levine is definitely part of that. His shooting had improved with the Thunder but it’s gotten really good all the sudden. I look forward to getting to see them play again.

Sure, he probably plays the bench more but the offense is still the same offense. Depth only gets you so far if you don't know how to use the players in the most effective way.
JB doing a great job improving Detroit, we saw it in Cleveland too. This year, even if he loses in the 1st round it will be a successful season but the test for him will be their ceiling over the next couple seasons. Can he get that young team to their absolute ceiling? We saw Cleveland improve little by little every season but I always felt we never saw their true potential, injuries or not, mainly offensively. If JB changes some things about his philosophy he can definitely become a great coach in this league OR maybe it was just a matter of fit.
Not every coach knows how to run an offense with two small guards...so I wouldn't say it was a "JB problem", it could very well be just an extremely difficult feat that only a guard whisperer like Kenny could crack...only time will tell for both these coaches and teams.

It's a good point. As much as Lebron is being talked about I think he is absolutely underrated this year. It's like we are amazed he is doing it at 40 but at the same time it is what we expect. We are spoiled watching him play for the last 20+ years.

Comment was more about Thibs and minutes but I'll address this some.......give Kenny that bench AND a bunch of injured starters I'm confident the starters he does have available are back up to their 34-36 mpg range. Love KA and the offense he installed is amazing but if we go into playoffs with injured starters and especially that garbage bench like we had in the NY series we'd have no shot...no matter what offense we ran.

Only FYI I'd add is Garland played like his all star self a couple seasons ago and the team was really good when healthy. No doiubt the O looks a lot better this season than it did last year even when all 4 of the core 4 played. But Garland was a mess after that first injury.

Tonight's game will have some overreaction no matter how it goes but really hope both teams have all their guys...just want to see how we look once against them.

Knicks are surprisingly low. Behind the pacers I think
Yeah that is surprising. Realize have had limited success since I've been a fan but figured had a lot back in the day. Maybe was not called Eastern conference entire time when they were successful (too lazy to look).
