they listened to the players and it went wrong.

that also includes signing DeAndre Jordan when they had Allen at home already.
Listening to players is often a bad idea....they tend to care more about name/friends than fit.

So glad not only the Nets were willing to dump Allen, but Houston did not want him for themselves when they traded Harden. Might be wrong but don't think they had Sengun yet.

Especially since the Suns don't have much draft capital to throw at them to sweeten the deal.

A simplified example would be:

Suns get Butler
Bulls get Beal and 2031 first from the Suns
Heat get LaVine

Works for all 3 teams, cap wise. Does it work for any of them asset wise? Arguable.
If Chicago wants to get off his contract that desperately and accept a less player for a pick in 6 years, sure....

They are not in good shape....but thinking blowing it up means trading Durant and perhaps Booker and others (maybe Butler if they have acquired him).

Yeah! I mean all they can do right now is get some cap space and hope a star player wants to come

I think they would want more than that, but Phoenix can aggregate players in trades. Maybe a side trade of a prospect for a vet could sweeten things, but the Suns really only have Dunn that fits that description (and he's unlikely to be available).

Chicago was just an example. Maybe the Nets?

Phoenix: Butler
Miami: Johnson, Claxton
Brooklyn: Beal, Jovic (or Ware?), '27 Miami 1st, '31 Suns 1st

JJ Redick's home is among those lost in the LA Wildfires

Don’t forget about Beals no trade clause before you try to send him to Brooklyn

That Cavs/Thunder game was great last night. Probably the best game I've seen so far.

Wonder if the Cavs will finally start to get the national recognition they deserve?

Have they even been on national tv ten times yet?

I'm saying any of these teams would approve these deals, just throwing shit at the wall lol...
Not sure why mostly middling teams looking to deal overpaid, regressing (or oft injured) players should not make me appreciate our FO.

Other than NBA TV maybe been on 1-2X before last night?

Don't mind if we keep flying under the radar.....or at least lack in a lot of national recognition.

Not really sure of the exact number as I've watched every Cavs game the last four seasons unless they play the Nuggets and it's not nationally televised. Same when the Celtics play the Nuggets.

60 mil a year for a 36 year old butler who doesn’t care about the regular season is wild

if you are already over the cap- who cares? if the owner is willing to pay it....thing is- that the repeater eventually comes in- but with how old durant and butler are- they prob only have this year and then MAYBE those 2 more years before they gotta tear it all down to the studs anyway.
