I don’t mean to, just trying to understand. What’s the big deal about winning this game? I mean really it helps them avoid the Thunder until the conference finals I guess. I don’t mean to minimize it though, not over yet though I guess.

Also if okc didn’t think the game means anything then they would rest some of their top guys. Last thing you want to do is give a possible opponent confidence about a playoffs matchup with the playoffs less than 2 weeks away. I would have intentionally at least 2 of my starters today and once again on Tuesday if the game didn’t mean anything but okc is still trying to get hca for the entire playoffs but keep lying to yourself and make up the lame excuses for okc getting their ass handed to them in consecutive games

I never said the Thunder weren’t trying. Just laughing at the perceived pleading to hold this lead. I’m playing poker anyway you guys enjoy the game.

I think someone mentioned a shortened season. I could vouch for 72 games possibly if it was considered. Doubt it happens.

This game is more important to the Lakers than the Thunder and both teams are playing like it.

The Lakers are trying to hold onto the 3 seed...the Thunder have the top seed secured.

So, the game doesn't mean much to the Thunder, but does to the Lakers.
