Speaking of globalization the modern game is far better than the old one for that reason too. Now the best players from all over the world play in the NBA and foreigners win all the MVPs. The talent in the era you prefer was far less. Even with Americans, the best athletes often played baseball or football back before the NBA started paying massive amounts to players.

The pace and game is 100 percent better than when Shaq was in his prime.

80s is the perfect game of hoops but you won't catch me doing the back in our day bs. We see the physicality ramp up in the playoffs. 82 games is a lot. The guys who played through injuries just had a shorter career. Same same.

I don't get bogged down in the Zions and Ben's who are literally stealing money. That isn't reflective of the league.
