whoa.....older guys are saying their era was better in a sport and being critical of today's game/players? No way. This is a major story.

and in my mind anyone who thinks it's not close has an agenda. That’s not fair to say that. I’ve seen the entire body of work for both. in my mind it’s not even as close as some want to make it out to be.
Yet the stone cold killer missed the Finals in 9 of his 15 seasons, quit in the middle of his career then again when things were going to get hard losing Pippen? When you saw the entirety of both careers no excuses are needed. It’s simple for me, one was a stone cold killer and one was a great athlete that was not a stone cold killer.
And the traveling which also has become blatant, is that rampant too? To answer my own question, I believe traveling and palming the ball are becoming more prevalent and blatant, not only in the NBA but filtering down to even young kid's basketball. Plenty of examples.
I'm not even sure there are many here who favor Lebron at least as a clear GOAT. I think it's close....just absurd to think it's clearly MJ and no discussion. It's very fair since that is essentially what you are saying about those who favor Lebron.
It is
Cancer spreads from the nba down
I'd say the 2017 Cavs were his best team at least here. GS just happened to add that Durant fellow making them even better. To be fair, Jordan was the leader of one of those himself. I don't think we can say that about any of LeBron's teams. Maybe 2016? I'd still say 1996 Bulls > 2016 Cavs
I may not be grammatically correctI'd say sometimes what makes them entertaining are irrational, emotional posters like yourself who can make factually incorrect comments (lie) and cannot be adults to own them.
agree on 1-3 with 1-2 in some order than KAJ. I think you can also make a case for others over Magic at 4. If you want to go old school could go Bird, for instance....and might not be long could choose a more current player. He is decidedly 3rd on my list.
Id probably put Magic 4th. From there its a matter of opinion. Can make a good case for Wilt at 4 also.
My dad used to complain about fouls and traveling, but these days he can't get past the hair styles in college hoops lol. Such a "not in my era" take...
"Totally focused throughout his career" but had to quit?
100% wrong? Not all the time for sure. Hell, if you could switch up your schtick you definitely seem to know the sport. No need for the extreme exaggerations and/or factually incorrect comments.I may not be grammatically correct
But I’m sure as hell not 100% wrong from a certain vantage point
I know the rumors as to why......also the rumors that he was the cause of the death. And he quit twice. The second time when things were about to get hard with no Pippen.Do you know why he quit?
Right? If prime Jordan got in a Time Machine and played for the 2017 Brooklyn Nets, they would have made the Finals and beaten the Warriors because Jordan is God and he doesn’t lose Finals.
I mean, I thought that was just facts everyone knew.
way to throw in your athletic exploits for no apparent reason. What? I played the game by the rules and in Competitve Powerlifting, you get called on the spot and then you are screwed? You get removed from the competition that day. Personally, I know of several local scholastic programs that play by the rules of the game and the coaches demand protecting the Integrity of the Game or they don't play in that school ever again.
Like Pasta I think he wanted to somehow get in his own athletic endeavors (real or fake).....no matter had nothing to do with anything I guess. Not sure what you are talking about.
But the rest of us are talking about traveling being officiated differently in basketball today vs. 40 years ago.
You are blaming the wrong people.
You obviously have your mind made up. That’s ok but you are wrong.Yet the stone cold killer missed the Finals in 9 of his 15 seasons, quit in the middle of his career then again when things were going to get hard losing Pippen?

Good fit for both teams....especially the Cavs at the stage Detroit was in when you got him.And again I fully apologize for doubting drafting the kid. He's quickly becoming a fav of mine.
Maybe JB was a bad fit for Cleveland but the spark he's lit in this team is wild to see.
Hopefully Isiah is just done for the season and not the playoffs.
