Yeah... you're highlighting the fact that this wasn't a real game.

The Celt's rookie from Creighton (Scheierman) put up 20 the other night in similar circumstances... when I first heard I was kinda psyched, but then I looked at the box score and saw it was more of a meaningless exhibition game environment.

It's real to the guys that finally get some run, but clearly the Lakers punted before the game even started.

It's as real as any recent Sixers game though.

First Laker rookie to score 17 pts on 70% shooting with 5 assists since Magic Johnson. 4 turnovers and 4 fouls in 30 minutes counter the decent stats a bit.

Of course his plus/minus was terrible. He was coming off the bench for a team sitting their top 7 or 8 players. He was out there with the bottom of the roster, guys like Reddish, Len and Milton.

In other news, Alex Len hit a 3 pointer and had 10 pts and 9 rebounds in 17 minutes. Almost roster worthy until you see his 3 turnovers and 4 fouls.
The rest of the Lakers roster (Bench Players including Bronny) that played last night did a really good job in the FIRST HALF ALONE.

They came all the way back from a 23-point deficit to be down by 9 points at the half and this was against the full-blown Bucks starters like Ante-Alphabet-Soup and others.

Then, they went home in the Third Quarter and never really played that hard in the Second Half losing by 29 points with a deficit as high as 37 points. I was pleased at that First Half performance by those guys.

Redick was continuing his agenda of developing his youngsters and it will begin to pay dividends going forward into the future.

A lot of the turn around in the 3rd was the Bucks starting hitting shots. A similar Lakers squad gave the Nuggets a game a week ago (but did have AR and Vando). Tough for a bench squad game to be too effective, since these are lineups that haven't played together much and missing the key play makers and distributors. So many turnovers...

Yea, Shopson, that is unfortunate. Yea, my point was/is, the fact that Redick played everybody else for the entire game last night was to get them the developmental experience they all need and that can be used later if someone goes down especially in the post-season.

You should go see a proctologist. Something is wrong with you. That's why your vantage point is different.

Bronny showed some development last night after getting some confidence in the G-League

Just 1 game but he is showing some progress and could turn into a Gary Payton Jr type player.
