Crazy thing is even with the 4-1 series loss where the Cavs missed Mitchell 2 games and Allen missed the series...they are 7-9 vs Boston over the last 3 years. Average score 112-109 favoring Boston. Hard to compare each year especially CLE has a new coach this year.

Can't really compare regular season games to playoff games either.

Yeah a comparison is not great in this matchup. One injury riddled playoff series with a different coach.

Who knows what happens but Boston has the advantage

Of course, that's the discussion; playing your starters too many

proving my point once again

This was about thibs over using his players, meanwhile the bulls coach who according to you did same and won many rings , correct?

we have also made a significant trade while I believe the Cs are pretty much the same team (not saying that's bad as they are the champs).

Hell, even in most regular season games either team or both usually had key guys out.

Have to say the Cavs are a very impressive team, Built well , comebacks proves a contender

But, can you do this in PS?

For the fans, I truly hope so

Keep winning , keep home court advantage

Should be able to give the celts a dam good series and most importantly

Get the NBA back to higher ratings

And then there is the whole fact you are putting the cart before the horse. Both teams have to win a couple series before they meet. Start looking too far forward and you'll trip over your own feet.

Uh, all of that makes sense til the last line. Cleveland without LeBron will do nothing much for ratings.

Fair but we're fans not the players, we can look ahead all we want, won't change the outcome. And let's be honest the ECF is obviously going to be those 2 (barring some catastrophic injuries before then.

Yep...neither the Cavs nor Cs (despite Cavs record) are a juggernaut that cannot be beat in rounds 1 or 2. This is not the Lebron led Cavs (or Heat).

I don't think either a lock to get to ECF but agree anyone thinking they are wont stop them.

Nor will your "Cavs will never win another title" past comments. And, yes, I kind of agreed (at least in my lifetime).

Really? I think it’s a lock

Yeah I think I already posted that prediction is looking very shaky. Very impressive what the Cavs have going now. Not thinking title this year though IMO, so will they get one or just be contenders for a bit? Probably depends on if Mobley becomes an MVP type or not

That's why they play the games (but very likely given 7 games series).

Jaded Cleveland fan wont even allow me to think getting out of round 1 a lock.

what I once thought, but not sure Mobley needs to become MVP type but would sure help.........Might be tough for him on THIS team to be MVP type as too much talent around him to put up the numbers needed IMO.

and that's fine by me........so refreshing seeing a leader like Mitchell over MVP Lebron.
