Exactly.Without a specific g leaguer, the dunk contest would be unwatchable.

His 'career' is dunk contests, not playing in the NBA. I don't mind it but let's be real.
One of these perennially losing/tanking teams should give him a roster spot. He'd be worth it for garbage time splash plays and all-star game exposure.
He can't be any worse than Bronny
I was thinking about watching it this weekend but totally forgot. I watched the first game and then started binging a tv show. Happy with my choice tooSo they actually tried tonight or nah? Watched SNL50 instead, happy with my choice
He shouldn’t be on tv. Stick with his podcast. He isn’t ready for tv, still very immature. Now a lot of guys on tv are immature but they had the exposure and experience to be smart about what they can or cannot say.Draymond’s comments last night were out of line IMO.
As a broadcaster, you are representing the league.
It is absolutely warranted to bring up the things you don’t like about the new format. Records, rising stars playing, etc.
But calling it a zero out of 10 on national TV is not productive. And it completely ignores the fact that the game itself was trending toward a zero as it has historically been played.
The league had to do something. And Draymond has a responsibility to at least acknowledge that while discussing the flaws.

I think Barkley and Shaq get away with a lot but ultimately they add a lot more to the show then a guy like DraymondGilbert said he got an interview with nbc and mentioned one of the things they don’t want to see is the stuff you see from the tnt guys meaning talking down on the league and the players
Yeah I mean the play-in can’t really be argued. I think it has been a nice add.Not sure I agree.
The play-in seems to be a benefit.
The In-Season Tournament doesn't add much, but is kind of fun. It would be better if they figured out the couple of scheduling quirks that seem to pop up that folks don't like.
Thought the first couple of games of the All-Star thing were okay and the teams seemed interested in competing. The final was a disappointment. But maybe it would have been better if Team Shaq didn't jump out to a big lead right away? After that it seemed to turn into "let's get Steph the MVP on his homecourt".
I want the corner 3 gone for defensive purposes. Missed corner 3s are almost always fast break opportunities, and there is no justification for them being shorter than all other 3s. Either widen the court or just stop the 3 pt arc where it would hit the sideline.
KD was not in favor of the change in the first place. This is an example of a guy not being appreciative enough of the sweat of others that allows him the right to say stupid stuff now. Respect the game, everything else will take care of itself.I agree with KD
LOL.That sounds reasonable but then what will Peter Griffin do ???
Yeah.....Not sure I agree.
