I don't need the rising stars. Increase the rosters as you should have done years ago and this format is fine. Maybe increase target score in final game somewhere between 50-60 but everything else is fine

Agreed, it's big business now not scrappers playing for pride since the money wasn't great. The athletes are better but it's just different emotionally. Not necessarily worse, it's a different thing...change happens

2 of the 3 games. It wasn’t bad at all imo if you actually understood the format but with all the crying I’m seeing on twitter, I am now convinced nothing the nba does for the AS game will work unless it is played like game 7 of an nba finals intensity.

My wife and I just got back home from the Chase Center area a little while ago.
The energy down there and along the waterfront for AS Sunday was off the charts.
Great vibe for all the local businesses too. Lots of fans from all around the country and elsewhere are visiting and enjoying their time here.
I gotta admit San Francisco did this event up nicely....props all around.

We avoided going to that part of town on Saturday night because we had other plans, and we knew it would've been super congested with the annual Chinese New Years parade happening close by at the same time. But tonight was pretty awesome just to be in that setting even if we weren't inside the arena. There also were a few outdoor jumbotron screens at various locations along the Embarcadero and at the Arena streaming all the festivities and live game action. And the weather was pretty decent too and not cold at all for a mid Feb afternoon and evening.

As a broadcaster, you are representing the league.

It is absolutely warranted to bring up the things you don’t like about the new format. Records, rising stars playing, etc.

But calling it a zero out of 10 on national TV is not productive. And it completely ignores the fact that the game itself was trending toward a zero as it has historically been played.

The league had to do something. And Draymond has a responsibility to at least acknowledge that while discussing the flaws.

Draymond says the game is boring now. Why bc you aren’t winning? Why complain now, it has been the same game for years now even when GS was winning. It just comes off as a sore loser comment which isn’t surprising. The game has been 3 point oriented since the middle of Steph’s career, yes volume is up but still the same shit.
GS is 3rd in 3 pt attempts and have been at the top of the league in attempts for some time

Funny, since Dray makes games more unwatchable than any other player for me.

Who are these reasonable posters you speak of? Hmmm.

I want the corner 3 gone for defensive purposes. Missed corner 3s are almost always fast break opportunities, and there is no justification for them being shorter than all other 3s. Either widen the court or just stop the 3 pt arc where it would hit the sideline.

Anyone have any issues with g leaguers being in these contests?

Without a specific g leaguer, the dunk contest would be unwatchable.
