So much of the season left. I’d like to agree you and because of the defense it would be easy to, but a lot can happen in the 30 games. In my mind though tonight was a statement win, all the stars should have been aligned for Memphis.
Yeah I know you have to concern troll not to get too excited and piss off the basketball gods, but I'm legit not seeing who. No skin in the game either, just what it looks like.

Lol, damn. They said this dude has some back issues but how damn bad must he be broken down if he failed for MULTIPLE other issues that aren't related to his back?

Hornets tried to fuck on us. It's only right that the League allows us to pick up one free center from a roster of our choosing

Well, now I'm more upset that they didn't also pursue a Sharpe trade.

With the trade rescinded, they now have to ship their focus from guard to center on the buyout market and only have $1.6M to spend. I doubt they can get two pro-rated vet mins into that $1.6M so we're probably looking at waiving one player to sign a center (Wood? Morris?).

Bummer to take post win buzz down considerably. Hopefully Knecht takes this well and focuses on what JJ wants from him. At least there is the bonus of getting Knecht back, a guard/forward defender in Reddish (if a big negative offensively) and the draft capital returned for a move this summer.

Butler looked really good tonight, 25 points in 29 minutes and just 12 shots, +16

@bksballer89

Glad to have him aboard, I know the end in Miami was lame but he had to be a favorite of yours

It'll be a little tricky when Kuminga returns, finding him time. I guess that allows them to not put too much mileage on old man Jimmy

Well he would make the after game parties more interesting at least.
At bare minimum, Lakers will waive someone (Wood?) and convert Koloko to the 15 man roster. Maybe they find someone else in the buyout market? If they try to waive and add two players, they will have to be very young players with 2 or less years in the league to get their pro-rated salaries under the 2nd apron. They could fit Koloko and Jemison if they decide to.

Cut Reddish or Morris and sign Theis. Maybe see if you can convince Alex Len to ditch the Pacers and sign in LA instead since his move technically isn't official as he has to clear waivers first. They just need a body with experience at this point

Everyone talking about the Warriors being desperate, seems to me they took advantage of a very motivated seller and upgraded for the end of Steph’s career without giving up a lot
