The people saying Dallas won the trade are just plain stupid. It has nothing to do with AD as a player. 32 and injury prone is not ideal.

To trade a generational player for “an aging injury prone player” has to be easily the most risky return for a megastar ever

Dallas didn't "win the trade". But it was also not the worst trade ever or a total fleecing. They got back around 80 cents on the dollar and accomplished their goal of not giving Luka a supermax.
