and anyone else obv.

Saw a trade proposal today involving the Cavs and Lakers.

I don't remember what else (draft picks, etc.) they suggested could be involved...but the meat of the trade was Rui Hachimura for Darius Garland.

Premise was that the Cavs need a forward with some size like Rui and the Lakers need a playmaking guard like Garland.

Thoughts?
I dont see that as realistic. Garland was an all star player and while he had a rough season last year still has a lot of value- Hachimura is useful but at the end of the day he is just a guy.

Cavs have everyone signed up now- think about it- Mitchell, Mobley, Allen and Okoro all signed AT least 3 year extensions in the offseason. I think Hachimura is better offensively than Wade, but Wade is a very good defender.

Great win for the Lakers. Thirteen years since they started 2-0

I saw this one, too. I'd rather just play Wade than acquire Rui. No thanks. Think had us taking Russell as well.

Debatable he's even better on offense. Will say when Wade plays the last couple seasons team is far more efficient when he's on than off.
