This Jimmy Butler saga is even weirder than the Luka/AD trade.
And to make matters worse...it made @WiggyRuss right for possibly the first time ever.
Not really sure how this is admirable. I don’t know how Silver is staying out of this after what he did in the Lillard situation.
Am I missing something on the Silver getting involved thing? Is Jimmy not doing exactly what Dame got reprimanded for?I think by "admirable" they mean his unwillingness to settle for anything less than what he wants.
But I'm with you...his way of doing it is certainly not what I'd call "admirable".

Partially right. 2 finals in 5 seasons and 3 conference finals appearances as well is better than anyone expected even Heat fans like myself. The ending is a disaster but that was a legendary run when you look at the roster he did it with. Only thing missing is a title
Same whiney baby for most of his career. Sad that Miami fans actually looked up to this guy. He is a fraud…not a leader, Spo was the leader and one of the best coaches in the NBA.
The truth is there may be times where a player simply can’t play where they want, not and get paid maximum money. Just the way it is. That’s the rub though, these guys have gotten used to getting their way. Dame last year seemed to be a good thing, hoping the Jimmy thing turns out even better. That guy doesn’t need to get a paycheck after this crap.Sure seems like it. I'm not sure that this Jimmy thing has been going on for as long as the Dame thing before Silver reacted. If that's correct, that may be why he hasn't done anything yet.
This is something that the league needs to address. I'm all for players being able to play where they want, but there's a way to do it and this ain't it.
I’m starting to think the guy hates anything normal. He hates the heat is the only logical explanation to this

Love you guys though. I've always had issues with the way the league favors teams and handicaps others, it happens in every sport I know, but I've never seen it so prevalent and have such an impact as in the NBA. I've watched KAT play nearly every game of his career and I can tell you the way he is officiated in New York is night and day different than when he was here. It is literally night and day. I still watch kat and cheer for him to win a chip. I also sometimes will watch the Timberwolves play just for the hilariousness of how different the officiating is for them, but I'm not gonna put much emotion into it.Well ok then
That’s why you if you are a lower market team you have to easily be the better team, especially in big games or playoff games. We all know most superstars will get calls but stars/superstars in big markets definitely get special treatment..for the most part. Funny thing is Lebron didn’t even get special treatment in Cleveland even though he was the best player in the league he was just so much better than the competition.Love you guys though. I thought Grimes has been playing well in Dallas but Martin a very solid defender and he has the experienceCaleb Martin to Dallas
