Rudy is getting exposed. He will be on a island now, at least before he had Towns. He got a lot of shit for is inconsistent play especially on the defensive side but at times he still played great defense. If they thought Towns shot selection was bad, wait until you see Randle's

He’s best with his catch and shoot game and on the block

They sure didn't look like I expected them to last night. AD wrecked their bigs and they didn't look like they were on the same page most of the game.

I expect that some of it is trying to fit in a couple of significant new pieces in Randle and DDV, but they played with little energy which was surprising. Randle looked lost and like he didn't want to be there.

DDV was one of the few that really brought it (although he gets away with a lot of fouls lol).

Dillingham is an interesting fit for a team built on defense.

In a game where nobody other than Anthony was really scoring i thought it was worth a gamble. And honestly, they could have put Dillingham on Anthony Davis and it's not like he would have been worse at guarding him than the rest of the team was.....

It's the turnovers in the first half that killed them.

Start of the season, it's kind of expected though so I don't think you have too much to worry about.

On the same note, the Lakers only had 7 TO's which surprised me. JJ got them protecting the ball it seems!!

Just so frustrated with the laziness last night. Didnt see that hardly at all last year. Between Randle jogging back on a break, Conley just throwing weak ass JR high passes and the complete lack of boxing out, it was the effort that pissed me off.

Finch clearly didnt have them ready.

Agreed, it is a worrying mindset that leads to apathy when they have not accomplished anything yet. I think the intensity gets turned up through the year, but this team is not coast through regular season good.
