Your opinion.

And a bad one honestly.

Lots of players whine and get rewarded with whistles. Not just in NY.

And I am not talking about the whining. Not teaching that. Teach the flopping. That is smart basketball.

The whining part you get teed up at lower levels. But it is consistently allowed in the NBA to most stars.
Agree until they stop rewarding it or at least penalize the extreme floppers more might as well do it.

And, sure, is annoying to see Brunson fall down like a toddler whenever someone is near him (and be rewarded).

The bold is the issue. Not the flopping itself.

As @tlance points out, it's smart to "embellish" contact to try to draw a foul. Nothing wrong with that...anyone who's ever played for more than 10 minutes has done that.

It's the guys like Harden and Brunson who take it to the extreme and seem more interested in trying to draw a foul than make a shot that gets tiresome...or shit like Lebron used to do when I guy would raise his arm and he'd go sliding across the floor like Tyson just punched when there was zero contact and like 6 inches between the players arm and Lebron.

And why the fuck did I take out the trash earlier? This place going to look like a damn hurricane hit it after they open presents on Tuesday. I'm off my game today.

The whole point of the conversation is Brunson is doing it to the level of Trae a couple years ago. It makes him look soft. Every player should look to seek contact at the hoop. This kid throws his body into defenders stand still at the FT line and is rewarded. He falls down on every shot.

That is not basketball. Play the game, some guys act like this is drama class. I can see if you are getting nailed at the hoop like Lebron and not getting calls but this shit is ridiculous

You can think what you want about him being soft.

But he gets the calls. It helps his team win games and earns him millions of dollars.

And as long as the officials keep calling it?

He would be stupid not to take advantage.

Sounds to me like you are saying he should prioritize looking cool over making winning plays.

Yeah, that's the point I'm making. Embellishing contact to try to make sure you get a call is one thing. It's shit guys like Harden and Brunson do that is over the top.

But, to add to @tlance point, it's more up to the refs to catch it, than Brunson or Harden to stop what's working just because fans don't like it.

Wemby is silly

The best way to describe his defense is that he looks like a grown man playing with little kids.

He looks like a giant stick insect...my son isn't a big NBA fan but he loves watching that one. I like him too.

That woman referee has no business referring in the Spurs-Sixers game or any game for that matter

That was a complete flop by Wemby
