We have that in common, so glad I got to see BB in Vegas when I did. Buddy Guy is a very under appreciated blues guy too. More modern guys I like are Keb Mo and Robert Cray. Stevie kind of crossed over but he had some blues in him too. Was thinking about him the other day and how much great new stuff we have missed out on from him. He was a true genius.

Saw Stevie Ray in one of his last concerts before he died. It was at the Benson & Hedges Blues Festival. John Lee Hooker, Etta James BB King and Joe Cocker all played. Awesome time.

That’s an all timer. I went to the millinial concert at BB Kings in Memphis. No huge acts but I can say I saw Rufus Thomas, Ko Ko Taylor and Little Jimmy King. Rufus was past his prime obviously but he came out in some diamond studded shorts and suspenders. I knew nothing about Little Jimmy King, Freedie Kings son. Left handed guitar player just flipped it over like Hendricks. It was a night.
