Finch emptying the bench while still in the 3rd quarter? Hmm.

Yeah establishing a jumpshot is important but really just stupid to attempt that many at his size. He’s got to realize that at some point even if it isn’t this season

I agree that he needs to be more aggressive attacking the rim.

Disagree completely with the idea that he shouldn’t be taking so many 3s because of his size.

He shouldn’t be taking so many 3s because of his current proficiency level in shooting them.

Once he gets his percentages up into the high 30s, he should absolutely seek those shots out.

Just not at the expense of attacking the paint.

The best offensive players do both.

Agree but the bold is still an if, there is no certainty he will get into the high 30’s. I guess we just expect it bc of his talent level and every shot if “open” bc he is so damn tall. I mean if he did become a great shooter maybe like a Dirk he could be the most unstoppable player of all-time.

nice to see them destroy the Lakers- but the Lakers (another mid- team) are not very good away from home.

Heat do have, what? like the 5th best differential in the East though- which is something. Tonight def. helped.

The Heat differential was 0.3 before the game.

AD needs to play better but Rob Pelinka still going to hell for the rosters he keeps constructing. Pretty sure its a cardinal sin to waste years of Lebron and AD

What is your answer? Overpay with the only 2 firsts they have available for role players? There aren't many reasonable trade costs out there this early unless they want to take on a bad contract situation (and those would be 2 or 3 for 1 trades that would further deplete the bench).

They may not be world beaters, but having Wood, Hayes and Vando out leaves few options for the front court rotations. They're giving those minutes to 2 way players and/or playing 4 guard lineups to bridge the gap. Even the guys that shouldn't see the court right now (Bronny, JSN) are nicked and unable to play, as is Olivari (2 way). Add Reaves' injury to that mess adds insult to injuries (lol).

It's not even that he's taking 3s, he's taking unnecessary deep 3s.

You joke, but he's substantially better defensively than DLo who is contributing to the current issues defensively.
I like Reeves, he went to my school. He’s a gamer, the Baker Mayfield of the NBA.

Yes, you have to trade the picks. I've been saying this for years now. They need better rotational players. But they keep trying to get them without giving up any assets. Picks are assets, you're gonna have to part with something. And getting Wood and Hayes back isn't gonna matter. They are ass. They are minimal level players and part of the reason the roster is so poor is because Pelinka keeps handing out player options to low level guys so when they don't work, we can't move on at the end of the season and look for better fits because these players pick up their options and take up space.

I really am liking watching the Knicks this year. It’s been a long time since I could say that! Let’s see how long it keeps up

Cavs have not had Strus all season, and had Wade, Okoro, LeVert and Morrell out at the same time for extended stretches.

Gotta build depth in the NBA.

I agree on the player options (and the biggest failure, not getting Valanciunas this summer when Lebron was giving away salary).

However, I can't get behind giving up both picks to get one player like Cam Johnson, Walker Kessler, or Jerami Grant. Those are the trades that are out there right now.

Saw this clickbait suggested.

3 team trade involving the Lakers, Jazz and Pels.

Lakers get B.I., Sexton and Kessler.
Jazz get D-Lo, JHS, Vincent and 3 first round picks.
Pels get Rui, Vando, Drew Eubanks and 2 second round picks.

Even the author called it..."extremely optimistic on the Lakers side". lol
